Good location, very close to the beach. The room with bathroom for 3 was clean enough. Unfortunately noisy (street downstairs is very busy). Breakfast included and not bad (specially the fruit). The lobby looks good but once you go upstairs it doesn't look that good (old and dirty). It is expensive but apparently all Rio is the same. For a... More

Location is so-so. About 5 minutes from the Copacabana. That`s only my recommending point. One of two Elevators is out of order and, furthermore when I check out, other elevator becomes also broken. It means I'm forced to climb up to 10th floor on foot, and down to the ground floor. They need renovation ASAP before the World Cup in... More

After specifically telling the cleaning staff we did not want our room cleaned we came back to find a man cleaning the room. He was unusually friendly and then quickly left. We checked our valuables and we found that $100 was missing (we deliberately left our cash in the room because we were advised not to walk around Rio with... More

I agree with the reviewer Lee_Pearce, the best thing about the hotel is its location, which is very central and close to the Copacabana Beach. My room was ok, pretty spacious, but old. The air conditioning was very noisy, and the room had an overall smell of humidity and moth. The staff was not attentive most of the time, the... More

this hotel is well located being one block off the Copacabana beach and at the better end of the beach for bars and nightlife, however, there ends the praise. Its expensive for what it is, even by Rio standards, and the 3 star rating is very generous. The air conditioning unit was noisy and even being on an upper floor... More

The most positive thing about this hotel is the location, its 1 block away from the beach and a short walk to the nearest Metro. The staff were helpful. There is only 1 lift, and being on the 13 floor we needed to use it, but the other one was being renovated whilst we were there. Unfortunately the Air Conditioning... More

I have stayed here 2 times. First time I stayed there I had a great room, big and very confortable. The staff was sometimes friendly, other times, when I wanted to have my friend to the room, it wasnt allowed. It was weird as on my arrival, my friend took me there, she could join me in the room and... More

Average hotel that needs remodeling. Their rooms look quite old. The location is awesome, with restaurants, drugstores, banks nearby and the beach a couple of blocks away. Avoid the rooms in the first 5 floors facing the noisy avenue, ask for those in the back.

At first, you may be surprised by a nice lobby. Front desk service is quite good. Unfortunately, the rest is not the same. You have two types of rooms - regular and "luxury". We stayed 4 days in the hotel, the frist 3 in the regular and the last one in the "luxury", due to a problem in our room.... More

This hotel is ok. The location is great, but it really could be renewed. Everything is quite old, specially the bathrooms... I think it was built like in the fifties and never touched again. But what is really bad is the elevators: very small, only two of them for all the guests AND sfaff, they take a long time to... More
