Arrived at the hotel just before noon and even though check in was not until 2.00pm we were allocated our room within minutes of arrival. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast selection was excellent. The hotel was very busy but well organised and we took the reception staff advice to arrive for breakfast before 8.... More

Using Booking.com we booked this hotel well in advance as we planned to be in Rio for New Year. Staff service was excellent, as was the food, although breakfast could be very busy at times. Room was comfortable but wifi tended to be intermittent.

A practical hotel with nothing special, uncomplicated location, small rooftop pool nice staff and breakfast buffet. A good place for families and young couples as it is very central and I need to fill this review with 200 words...

We had a 15th floor room which was perfect for the four of us, (husband, wife, and two teenagers). A couple blocks back from Copacabana Beach and much more reasonably priced. The hotel was very professionally staffed. Nice rooftop pool. Excellent breakfast buffet. Would definately stay here again.

Decent hotel with comfy beds. Good location a couple of blocks from Copacabana beach; perhaps due to the time of year the hotel was very crowded; the pool was very crowded and seating lounge chair etc quite limited. There is a bar so that helps! The room was very nice and clean, the amenities offered are very average. The room... More

I enjoyed my stay here. It's about 2 or 3 blocks away from the beach. Real close to subway station and a host of cafes and little shops. I stayed at the beach as well but you will get a better sense of being in Brazil further into the neighborhood. Lots of locals out and about. This hotel offers free... More

We stayed In a superior double room as we received a free upgrade on check in which was nice. Room was nice enough but bath and shower were a bit tired and grubby, rest of the bathroom however was fine. Slept well, comfortable bed, air con in room. Staff helpful providing a power adapter and sewing kit. The pool area... More

I stayed with my wife and 3-year old son the first week of December 2015. Here it comes my impressions: Cleanliness and rooms: First, They assigned my room 1705, which immediately I asked for a change: the bathroom had loose handles, closets with strong humidity (smelly too), and dammed sinks in the bathtub. Then, I stayed at room 1105 which... More

Staying in Copacabana

Neighborhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
