Our room was of a reasonable size(been to Europe anyone?),and the room,ensuite and linen were clean. we had no problem with noise. Paid too much for an old hotel. Bad linens, bad towels, cheap soap and shampoo. They charge a fortune for everything, even to use the safety deposit box.
