We have stayed at Augustos for a week during Rio carnival. The location is right in the middle of Copacabana. The room was spacious. We stayed in 1004, cleaned every day, beds comfortable. The air on a bit noisy, but after a night out you are not really bothered about it ( if you are a light sleeper take earplugs).... More

We stayed here just three nights and arrived after midnight. Staff helpful and friendly and a pleasant breakfast to set us up each day. The room was comfortable well set out. Being in the centre of Copacabana it was convenient for the beach and for shops, cafes and restaurants. Others we met who stayed int he centre of Rio felt... More

I paid for 7 nights and was only able to stay 1 night because they lost my reservation FIVE times. I was stranded in another part of Brasil and had to pay for another hotel during holiday, because of... More

I stayed at this hotel for a week during the Rio carnival period of 2014. The hotel staff were very helpful with sorting out any information we needed to enjoy the city safely and happily during the carnival. Though there was some confusion with our booking and room initially, again the staff did everything they could to sort out the... More

The location is great, next to the subway and just three blocks from the beach, very kind employees and the rooms are very good. The breakfast is nice and there's a lot of facilities nearby. Would stay more times wgen in Rio de Janeiro.

Hotel classed as 4 star, however it did not have the facilities of a 4 star . I would give it 2 star. reception staff not helpful as none could speak English or willing to help. Could not get help from reception to help book a car to take us around Rio. Room service non existant, made several phone calls... More
