I spent 7 nights at the Augusto's Copacabana Hotel for Carnival 2009. It was a part of a package deal through my travel agent! By the time we decided to upgrade the entire city was sold out. Could use a little refurbishing but overall ok. Walls are paper thin and conversation from neighboring room can be easily heard. They also play "ambient" music in the hallways and this also filters into the rooms. Breakfast was mediocre and supposedly "hot" items were luke warm at best...even the coffee.
