The location is great, next to the subway and just three blocks from the beach, very kind employees and the rooms are very good. The breakfast is nice and there's a lot of facilities nearby. Would stay more times wgen in Rio de Janeiro.

Hotel classed as 4 star, however it did not have the facilities of a 4 star . I would give it 2 star. reception staff not helpful as none could speak English or willing to help. Could not get help from reception to help book a car to take us around Rio. Room service non existant, made several phone calls... More

staff fantastic, hotel clean, pool size of a stamp which was disappointing but great view and was nice to cool off in. a/c old and noisy, as is the elevator. we were moved to level 2 from level 11 to eliminate this. Area safe and close to beach and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Good value for money, breakfast far better... More

The location is ok, the hotel is very close of many nice places at Copacabana, but the room, more or less. The hotel need a refurbish on the furniture, bad, bathroom and so on, but was clear and organized.

Whilst this isn't the 'flashest' hotel I am sure in Rio, the friendliness of the staff was superb, especially Rodrigo and the concierge team. As we left for the day or arrived back to the hotel each night we were greeted with friendly smiles and conversation - this was wonderful and so different to the previous hotel we had stayed... More

A friend and myself stayed at this great wee hotel for four nights. Despite the rooms air conditioner sounding like a mini tractor it was nice and clean with enough room very comfortable for two sleeping in separate beds. The staff were an absolute highlight of this hotel. It's nothing flash or fancy but what it lacks in looks are... More

This is a well located hotel at 5mn by walk from Copacabana beach. Not luxury for sure but good enough for a family or couple stay during vacation. Rooms are not very large and modern but beds are acceptable. Staff at the lobby was very helpful. Breakfast was ok. The negative point is Internet by wifi which is chargeable unless... More

Stayed at Augostos for two weeks under the World Cup. The hotel is very sentral to almost everything in Rio, and we could easily walk to the Copacabana beach(approx 5-10mins).Metro was close to the hotel. The service under the stay was good, though we had to wait a while to check in(got free wifi whole stay for this). The price... More

This hotel is very clean and the rooms are extremely spacious. Unfortunately, you have to pay for wifi which is a little disappointing when the rooms are so expensive. Breakfast was average but there wasn't a great variety of food. I was mugged the night before I was due to checkout and despite not being particularly helpful before, the staff... More
