Due to a short stay in Rio de Janeiro, I decided to stay in Copacabana. The hotel is well located - 5 minute-wall to Copacabana beach. The hotel is very clean, the staff is very helpful. I recommend this place !

Location: Pretty perfect location 3-4 blocks from Copacabana beach with tons of eating and shopping options within steps from the hotel; walk outside and you're in the beating heart of Rio. Considering the location the price is reasonable bot that doesn't make it cheap. Still, when you compare it to hotels in the area with similar features it's on target... More

This Hotel was really good. It had large spacious rooms with a separate dining area. The Hotel Staff were very obliging and friendly. It was only 2 blocks from Copacabana Beach. Easy walking distance. There is a lovely outdoor area on the rooftop with a gym and swimming pool. Views right around the city. I would highly recommend to others.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel after World Cup, after spending 7 weeks in Brasil for our flight back to New Zealand. The hotel is well located, just a few blocks from the Copacabana beach, with some nice cafe and supermarkets around the area. All just walking distance. We were upgraded to a higher floor room with a... More

We stayed here during the World Cup. Prices were massively hiked, so I'm not sure on value for money. But it was a decent hotel, location is great - just a few blocks from Copacabana beach. Have to say that the staff are really lovely. We didn't experience the same problems as other reviewers here - everyone spoke English, and... More

Location is good. Prices were hiked steeply owing to World Cup. Staff can't speak English which made it difficult for non Portuguese speaking difficult to communicate. Water should have been complimented, but when extra bottles were asked for they charged. This is not acceptable, as you are already paying for thrice the normal rates. Wifi signals were very poor sometimes.

I have to start spending a few words about the fact that the man at the front desk, once he found a problem with my reservation, upgraded me to a bombastic suite without batting an eyelid. Nevertheless, if I had to pay for that suite I would be a bit disappointed. The style is a bit dusty, oldish and heavy.... More

Good location in Copacabana about 2 blocks from the beach (5 minute walk). Good choice of breakfast buffet. Large room with good air conditioning. Nice but small pool on roof. Good price for a decent hotel in this area. However, the noise of toilets flushing in rooms above could be clearly heard in our room which was annoying, as was... More
