The main selling point is the location AND the fact that these Apart-Hotels are VERY VERY BIG!! I would say the average size is about 700 square feet! They have an enclosed kitchen with FULL SIZE STOVE, FULL SIZE SINK, FULL SIZE REFRIGERATOR, Dining area, living room, hallway to bedroom with is VERY BIG with GIGANTIC closet and bed and...

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The position is very central in one of the smartest area of town (so do not expect bars and wild night life nearby)
The flats (we rented two of them) were large and comfortable with one exception of the bathrooms which are VERY VERY old.

Location, location, location. The building and apartments are old and need full renovation. Elevators are small, slow and always crowded. Extremely expensive for the facilities offered. Only choose this hotel for the location.

The best part of the hotel is the location, beach is 2 blocks away, lots of restaurants nearby and in the heart of Leblon, OK negatives.... a little too many, lets start with the worn down condition of the hotel lobby and rooms. It looks as if the...

If you're a hotel snob, you may get hung up on the very...

Being a Mercure, I really expected more: the furniture is outdated, the employees don't seem well prepared and their uniforms look shabby. Mold in the showers, dirty walls and floors, leak stains on ceiling. Just filthy.

This is not a de luxe hotel.
It is however greatly located. The apartments are spacious, ideal for families. They are a bit in need of rennovation, but overall the experience is great.
Reccomend it.
