Please view the pictures. These pictures only begin to show how horrible the hotel was. Thje AC didn't work, when the fixed it, ice was spitting out, it took 4 tries to band-aid the AC. There was mildew and mold in many places in the shower and bathroom. The furniture was very out-dated, and some was broken, or missing pieces.... more

spent five days of the Carnaval at Royalty Copacabana. The room was very average. Beware some floors are undergoing refurbishment!! We requested a change of rooms, but the staff were extremely accomodating to our request. However the location was great! All staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts, rooftop bar & pool were superb. Overall not a bad hotel! more

The Royalty. When you walk in, you are greeted with a funky smell. it must be from the accumulation of smoke and grease over the years. In all an ok hotel, but nothing to write home about. WiFi is non-existent. Internet room in hotel has high charges, R$2/4min. Ethernet port in room, but I didn't check or ask about prices.
