Traveling with my two growing up kids 22 & 19 we went to see the world soccer cup at Rio de Janeiro, finding a sad experience in Rio, very dirty, the hotels bad noise and very dirty, the service very bad, I think the whole Brazil did not was prepared for this important games. The hotels not only are dirty,... More

Nice better than basic hotel. Very helpful staff and nice neat rooms. Great location close to the beach and can't do enough to help you. Would recommend to people travelling in the area. They have umbrellas at the beach for guests and towels etc. It is right next door to the Everest Rio which is supposed to be nice as... More

Hotel options at a reasonable price in Rio de Janeiro are scarce to say the least. During the World Cup was even worst. After many attempts I finally could secure two rooms at The Everest Park Hotel for my family of 5. Price was outrageous, but we didn’t many options. $450usd per night per room!! I have stayed many times... More

I was on assignment for 2 weeks and this was the first hotel of 3. Check in took some time as there was some confusion. Staff were very nice and very helpful so that made it a pleasant checking in process. I finally got the room and was not impressed at all. The room was old, outdated and a very... More

As the other reviews, this hotel is old, outdated and way too expensive. I paid 135 euro pr. Night for a dobble room. The location is good, the staff okay, the pool on the rooftop at the mother-hotel (Everest Rio) is nice. Wi-fi was fast enough. Clean sheets and towels, but they did not vacumclean the carpet in the room.... More

I was booked into the Everest Hotel but I did not know that there were two Everest hotels 70m apart. The taxi driver took me to the Everest Park hotel at 03:00 where they had no record of my booking. The night porter did his best and checked me in. The room was very tired with very loud air conditioning... More

Someone's impression of a hotel heavily depends on how much they paid to stay there. So, reader, be aware that I paid $0, as my business trip was all paid for. That said, the hotel is very nice and in all respects (cleanliness, friendly staff, design, location, etc.) offers a pleasant stay in one of the very best locations in... More

I couldn't believe that I was paying almost R$400 reais per night at that hotel. It's dated. Old. Mold in the wall and it smells. Take a look at the pictures. Don't stay there! There only good thing about it is the location: a block from Ipanema beach and some great restaurants. But it's not worth it the money. I... More

The location is just about the best you can have in Rio without being right on the beach. My wife and I checked in on the last night of Carnavale and had a very smooth check in experience. The reception area is nice and the guy checking us in was friendly and spoke decent enough english. Our room had a... More

The hotel was booked for me by by business hosts. It's basic, populated by Brazilians (always nice to avoid foreign tourists) and nice enough. Great location 2 min. from Ipanema Beach. Nice beakfast. But... After returning from the beach hours after checking in, it was clear someone had been in our room. We had just checked in so there was... More
