The bed was comfortable and pleasant. The hotel's location is good. There are not many walk Copacabana beach Or around the shops. Whoever it is interesting the hotel is very close to a kosher restaurant. We arrived a week of the new year. The rates were very high. And there was great value. To begin with we got to the... More

It takes a long time to get the key at check-in. The room was old and had no window. The AC does only barely work, makes a lot of noise and the room is still very hot, hard to sleep in the heat (January 2015). The staff is not very friendly and the pool is a joke. Wifi was very... More

Stayed two nights here. My room was average. Dated furnishings. Bathroom was clean and had hot water. I was in the back of the hotel so noise was ok but I think anywhere else would have been bad. In room safe. The man at reception was nice and helpful. The breakfast had a nice variety. The location was good, only... More

This hotel is the worst I have stayed at in a long time. Air conditioners barely work, rooms smell, service is very ordinary and you pay a fortune to stay here. The only thing this place has going for it is it's location. I'm not one to whinge about accommodation, I had to in this case. Ps don't do your... More

dated and dark rooms. My room had a window that opened up into an air shaft. So friends checked in and told the clerk they were on their honeymoon and asked for an updated room and were told the rooms were a bit dated. Super cold ac. Good breakfast, small pool on top with nice view. Lots of construction going... More

Our stay was neither good nor bad. It was in fact very mediocre. Our room was fine, likewise was breakfast: a satisfactory selection with perfunctory service from staff. This is not a hotel I would recommend for a long stay, but for a few days with minimum time spent in the hotel itself, it is frankly fine: it is in... More

Location, Location, Location (2 safe blocks from Copacabana Beach); helpful, English speaking staff. Good breakfast (not great, but a lot more than just donuts and coffee). Room adequately clean, but with flaws. Toothpaste smeared under bathroom counter; shower door missing so shower was open and cold to use; old fixtures in the bathroom; windows wouldn't close completely. Internet was slow... More

My brother and I visited for 3 nights in November and really enjoyed our stay after a dodgy start. We arrived into quite a small reception which was already taken up by a large crowd of around 20 checking in. Normally I wouldn't have minded because everywhere has their busy periods but we were not acknowledged for around 40mins after... More

You could most likely get a better place for the same money in Rio. In my 4 night stay there I have experienced several unfavorable instances. The rooms are not terrible but they are not the greatest for the price. Breakfast was good and the persons at reception spoke clear English. In my 4 nights there I managed to stay... More

Hotel is dated, but functional, rooms seemed to be large and rooms were quiet. The hotel is centrally located, and a few blocks from the Subway Station. Bus 2018 from Galeao and Santos Dumont passes thru this street. Furniture was dated, but overall the hotel was clean, the breakfast is complementary and it was nice like they normally are in...
