I was very happy at Apa Hotel. My rooms was not small and not noisy ( I stayed on republica do peru Street). The satff was friendly and the breakfast very good. It´s a cheap hotel, so I think that it was very good for the price we paid more

Despite being on the last floor (the 7th, i.e. as far away from the street as possible) this was so noisy (day&night) that I run away after the 1st night; the other side of the hotel (away from Rua Barata Ribeiro) is probably quiter, but I wasn't given a chance to try another room. Basic, but very pleasant hotel in Copacabana. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms a bit old, but clean and complete. Vault available in room (3 reais a day). Free internet in the lobby (one computer, 15 mins per person). No restaurant, so lunch and dinner have to be found somewhere else. Breakfast buffet is fine! The hotel is close to the beach... more
