Noisy, dusty hotel that is being renovated now. Besides the too expensive room, reception staff very unfriendly. The hotel is being renovated, which means that it is dusty everywhere and very loud. The room is very little and has old furnishings. Same with the bathroom. The pool is very small and has only a few chairs to lie in the sun....

We have been spending the last 6 months travelling around South America staying mostly in hostels and decided to finish our trip with a little luxury. The hotel had a special offer on, due to the fact it was being re-furbished (which is mentioned on their website), of 47% off. For a 3 star hotel it wasn't too bad but...

I payed around 150€ a night and I was given a tinny room, with no more than 10 smts. It was probably the smalest room I've been in all my life!

The hotel has a great location - not on Copacabana Beach, but only...

I went to complain after choosing a 24hrs wifi connection, the reception guy decided to give a free 24hrs wifi access, after he checked for other available rooms on the system and told me there's no room available, so I let it.
My door is a...

First time visit to Rio and thanks to this experience, it will be the last. I have to agree to other comments here about staff. They are all naturally unpolite, however I will not blame them but the management. Hotel charged me $720 (dollars not reals) per night in a non-refundable booking. I left 15 minutes later anyway and paid...
