It's hard to get across the strangeness of this hotel. For me, it started when I checked in. After showing me around my room, the bellboy asked me if my breasts were silicone. I won't forget that anytime soon. The decor is 1970's masculine, with a lot of maroon. My room has a nice view of a favela with accompanying... More

I got married in June, 2014. The last stop of my honey moon was in Rio de Janeiro, for the FIFA World Cup at Maracana stadium. I payed, for the tickets, 2000 $. Unfortunately, I was already on honeymoon when I received the tickets at home, in Italy. So, my mother shipped the tickets at my hotel in Rio. A... More

The location of this hotel was it's only saving grace. We felt safe and had the beach as well as shops and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself was pretty average. I've never stayed in such a noisy place. Food was bad, breakfast ok and the shower was ridiculous. Will visit Rio again but not this hotel

Superb location, 5 minutes walk from Copacabana Beach, Ipanema Beach and General Osario metro station, which links to everywhere else. The hotel itself is nothing special really, serving a mixture of Brazilian and international tourists and people there to hang out on the beach by day and party by night . Rooms are plain and clean although down slightly threatening... More

We stayed here for two nights during the World Cup and due to that the price was very inflated. However, the hotel has a great location- 2 blocks from Copacabana and a 10 minute walk to Ipanema. It's in a neighborhood so it's very quiet (even with the energy of the World Cup!). The rooms themselves aren't anything special. They... More

Hotel has a convenient location and is in short walking distance to copacabana and ipanema beaches and metro. Great internet service and a good included breakfast. No view of water and certainly not to the standard of the copacabana palace hotel, but nice rooms, cleAn and in walking distance to everything you want to see.

This hotel is nice, standing in a good and safe location at the end of Copacabana, 10 minutes walk from Ipanema. The hotel´s amiable staff are great...you will never have to lift a finger! Room was decent and compact with sufficient amenities. Rooftop terrace with pool and sauna is good with panoramic views of the city. Will stay there again.

This hotel was in a pretty good location, close to shops and various beaches. The staff here speak English, which has been VERY helpful. Breakfast was also nice, plenty of fruit! Overall a good experience during worldcup season.

Easy walk to either Copacabana or Ipanema beaches - great for visiting the night markets on the beachfront. Rooms were spacious. Good buffet breakfast, helpful staff. Our room on one of the higher floors at the back of the hotel had quite a spectacular view of the flavella on the hillside.

I only stayed at the Hotel for one night, but it was enough for me to say that it was brilliant, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the room was excellent it could easily accommodate me and my two cousin. But the best is the location, it's right between Copacabana and Ipanema, both are the best beaches in Rio.... More
