Nice rooms, easily accessible. Not extremely central though, there aren't many Cafes or food places around (compared to other parts of Copacabana). There was nothing wrong with this hotel, the breakfasts were nice and hotel rooms clean!

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the hotel and found it decent and clean. The location is excellent - 200 metres from Copacabana beach. The room was clean but the corridor leading to the rooms is rather dark. The lights come on automatically only after a few seconds. Breakfast was standard fare though there was a good selection... Finishing off a group tour a day before Christmas and checking into this wonderful hotel was absolute bliss. We were greeted by helpful staff when we told them our dilemma with a previous hostel. We were given a room straight away (which was actually cheaper than what we were priced online) - three single beds in a clean and decent-sized... More

Great hotel for even better price in the best location, 5 minutes walk to both Copacabana and Ipanema. Extremely clean, great breakfast. Wi-fi spotty. It could be updated, but than the price would jump. Warmly recommended.

We stayed there a few months ago. The place is very old. The bed are horrible. We lost power serval time as well as the water. My friend got stuck in elevator. There are no emergency lighting that work. The staff was as a loss what to do. Go to any other hotel!

If you're hesitating whether to stay in Ipanema or Copabacana, this is the place to be, it's right in between, and withing walking distance to both beaches. This hotel is located off the the main streets, but still relatively close to restaurants. It's also within minutes of the subway station "General Osorio". We've always felt safe walking to the hotel,... More

Great location, and helpful, accommodating and friendly staff. Good value for money! It is within walking distance to both Copacabana and Ipanema beaches - which is a definite plus! The hotel is a little older, but generally comfortable. We had a queen-sized bed and there was ample space in the room. Wifi was free. The bathroom was clean, had a... More

The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The breakfast is lovely! The room was clean and large. The location is great - short walk to either Ipanema or Copacabana beaches. Views aren't great - there's a favella on a hill, but unless you're on the beach the views aren't amazing anywhere in Rio!

This was a very nice little hotel situated 5 minutes walk fra Copacabana and Ipenema Beach. The room very nice and had everything that was needed. The staff was very helpfuld in any way. They offer a variety of excurtions. The swimming pool is nice at the top, but it is only an oversized bathtub.

We stayed here at our second visit to Rio. The price is very good. The facilities is a bit old, but it didn't matter for us. The room was very big and always clean. The breakfast is excellent! The bed is just okay. If you are thinking of visiting Ipnema and Copacabana beaches, this hotel is spotted in a great... More

Staying in Copacabana

Neighborhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
