This hotel was the perfect location for us. It is located on the border of Copacabana and Ipanema. Our room rate for six nights in September 2014 came to R$2816,10 or $1204.60 USD or $200.77 USD per night. We felt this was a great rate given the size of our room, the free in-room wifi, free breakfast buffet, and the... More

This hotel is a reasonably priced (I paid 350 Reals/night for a single) and very well located. It's 5-10 min walk to a nice part of the beach abd also close to the Metro, plenty of banks/cash points, bars, etc. I have felt pretty safe in the neighborhood. My favourite thing about it is the rooftop, which has some tables,... More

We stayed with a grad school group. The location was excellent, the rooms were small, but clean. Wifi was mostly reliable, which was a change from some of the other hotels we stayed at in Rio. Not sure if it was free or not, as it may have been covered by our school. Service was adequate, no complaints, but didn't... More

The hotel is fantastic, I love the rooftop pool, and had an amazing time at the beach. The breakfast was yummy! I really enjoy my 3 day stay at this Hotel! The beaches are within walking distance, and the weather was fantastic!

Although I only stayed there for two nights and could only have breakfast one time. (I had to leave for the airport at 4 am on the last day) I can certainly say this hotel deserves 4 stars. The rooms are amazing, the lobby is welcoming, the rooftop pool real nice. Everything is clean, and the staff can help you... More

It's hard to get across the strangeness of this hotel. For me, it started when I checked in. After showing me around my room, the bellboy asked me if my breasts were silicone. I won't forget that anytime soon. The decor is 1970's masculine, with a lot of maroon. My room has a nice view of a favela with accompanying... More

I got married in June, 2014. The last stop of my honey moon was in Rio de Janeiro, for the FIFA World Cup at Maracana stadium. I payed, for the tickets, 2000 $. Unfortunately, I was already on honeymoon when I received the tickets at home, in Italy. So, my mother shipped the tickets at my hotel in Rio. A... More

The location of this hotel was it's only saving grace. We felt safe and had the beach as well as shops and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself was pretty average. I've never stayed in such a noisy place. Food was bad, breakfast ok and the shower was ridiculous. Will visit Rio again but not this hotel

Superb location, 5 minutes walk from Copacabana Beach, Ipanema Beach and General Osario metro station, which links to everywhere else. The hotel itself is nothing special really, serving a mixture of Brazilian and international tourists and people there to hang out on the beach by day and party by night . Rooms are plain and clean although down slightly threatening... More

We stayed here for two nights during the World Cup and due to that the price was very inflated. However, the hotel has a great location- 2 blocks from Copacabana and a 10 minute walk to Ipanema. It's in a neighborhood so it's very quiet (even with the energy of the World Cup!). The rooms themselves aren't anything special. They... More
