The most striking thing about the Windsor Palace is the really faithful adherence to modern architecture --- for the 1970's. The style is not distracting at all, though. We were on an extended vacation and wound up staying in Leblon (Hotel Palladium) when we returned to Rio, as Leblon (and Ipanema) are much nicer areas with lots of shops and restaurants.
