The Real Palace Hotel was localized from 2 blocs from Copacabana Beach, near Copacabana Palace Hotel. The hotel is old and your bedroom too. The bathroom need retrofit, as son as the restaurant. The breakfast is terrible, the pool is small, but the view is good.....

I stayed here for 2 nights as I transited from business in Florianopolis (south Brazil) to Brasilia (central Brazil). I wanted to be a (quick) tourist in Rio de Janeiro, and I succeeded. My company chose this hotel for me for a weekend in between the 2 business events. The location is great, only 2 blocks or so from Copacabana... More

This hotel is well situated a block from Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro. It was a great place to stay in terms of proximity to attractions for the Fifa World Cup 2014 and the beach. However, this hotel was philthy, unwelcoming, poorly ventilated, had thin walls and was staffed by people who were not interested in hospitality at all.... More

We stayed here for two nights during the World Cup. The decor is a little tired but the rooms are clean. We only ate breakfast at the hotel. The breakfast buffet has a good choice of food. The hotel is two minutes walk from the beach and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and there... More

I stayed here in July 2014 during World Cup. Prices were higher than normal but that was to be expected. What I didn't expect was how close it is to Copacabana Beach & to the FIFA FanFest. The rooms are fine, the food is good - plenty to choose from at breakfast & huge portions served at dinner. AirCon is... More

I stayed here in April 2014 as part of a work trip. My work put me up the first night at an awesome beachfront resort, but then I had to pay my own way if I took any vacation - which I took a few days. I stayed here as the price is right and it isn't too far from... More

My father and I stayed here 4 nights for the quarter finals of the world cup. Rooms are small but clean. Great hot showers. Reception team very helpful The guys in the restaurant need service training. 2 minutes from the Coco cabana beach We really enjoyed our stay. There is a great japanese restaurant ten seconds round the corner. Worth... More

I stayed here for 4 nights during the World Cup. Of course it's the World Cup and the prices are heavily overpriced, but all hotels in this area are like that. The room was good and clean. The zircon was a bit noisy, but that didn't bother me much. The breakfast was really good, lots of variety giving a good... More

The positives were the breakfast which had a great selection, the location you are 1 block from the beach front and the service from the staff. The negatives are that the room was small we had two single beds rather than a double and the noise at night can be loud if you are one for an early night (I.e... More

Only stay here if you liked overpriced rooms that are a borderline bacteria-fest (my blanket had all types of unidentifiable stains and my pillow smelled of straight BO). The staff is arrogant, rude, and a bit prejudiced. Feel free to contact me directly if you want more details... I was so displeased with my stay that I'm actually willing to... More
