It is with mixed emotions I write this review, but the hotel simply should not have been open for business for at least a week following the World Cup Final. Stayed here at the end of the World Cup, and arrived to a total building site, the day after the final/closing ceremony. Hublot (Sponsor of WC) had taken over the... More

The hotel location is the best plus, just across the Copacabana beach. You walk down to the beach anytime you feel like. Very good breakfast, included in the package was another plus. Hotel room on the back side are a disadvantage as you have no view. Swimming pool is just for namesake, not worth. Sauna is Ok, gym is also... More

The location of this hotel is the top feature. Very close to Ipanema beach and Copacabana. Many restaurant choices within a short walk. the hotel is small but service is excellent. Breakfast included was satisfactory. For the price, it was a good choice for us. We don't spend much time in our room while in Rio so the small room... More

My husband and I stayed at the Orla from June 1 to 5, 2014. The hotel is clean, has a small roof top pool, deck and gym. The free wifi works best in the lobby bar area, but you can pay for a faster wifi service if needed. The location is excellent for walking to Ipanema, Leblon, Copacabana and Leme.... More

I stayed for 4 nights in May 2014 at the Orla Copacabana on a business trip to Rio. If you are seeking an American-style hotel with larger rooms and big beds - go elsewhere! If you don't mind a clean room that is just a bit larger then the outline of the bed, and you like the service at smaller... More

Spent Carnaval 2014 at the hotel with friends. We had 3 rooms - 2 doubles and a triple. The triple actually had an ocean view. The room is tiny. Normally that would be okay, but since we had Carnaval costumes, it was a bit tight. Rooms are very expensive during Carnaval everywhere, but that said, I was more than satisfied... More

great location, nice food, staff is ok even not all can speak english. perfect spot for copacabana and ipanema, you can stroll along both beaches.easy for the transportations. Only the free wifi, nowadays it is important and supposed to be free while staying here but still they imposed fees for better connections.. :-(

Stayed two nights. For a South American hotel it's not bad. It's called a four star hotel but really a 3 star based on western standards. What can I say its clean, staff were good and had a comfortable stay and would be happy to stay again.

Stayed at this location with colleagues for some rest and relaxation after a few days of work in Sao Paulo. We had heard all the horror stories about crime in Rio, but for the three days we were there, we did not see anything like this. Just regular nice Brazilian people and tourists in a place that looks more like... More
