This hotel was picked for us by the company who arranged our wonderful trip to Rio & Iguazu in March. Service was friendly, helpful & courteous all the way. The room was spotless and cleaned every day, if we needed anything a quick call to reception sorted out any problems and it was a mere 2 minutes walk to Copacabana... More

The location was excellent, very close to both the famous Copacabana beach and a metro station. The hotel is slightly old and the wear and tear shows. The staff was excellent - I was visiting the city with my niece, and they were always helping and protecting us silly blonde gringas. We felt very safe in the hotel at all... More

Placed just a street and a half away from the beach, without the noise, and with a friendly, well-dressed staff to look after you, including daily room service, I can heartily recommend this hotel to you.

Rio one of the top 10 places to be for New Year. Mirasol rate almost $500 USD. Notified the hotel of our early arrival and with two rooms requested for early check in. On arrival was asked to pay more but declined. Requested for breakfast to be swapped from check out day but advised to wait for the Manager. Manager... More

This hotel is rated a 4 star but by most standards would be a 3 star. In it’s glory days I’m sure it was a 4 star hotel but that time was long ago now. It looks like they are in the middle of refurbishing this hotel prior to the World Cup and Olympics so in a years time the... More

We liked being to walk on the tree-lined streets to Copacabana Beach & the Copacabana Palace. At the desk, Duarte provided answers to our questions & arranged our cab to ascend Sugarloaf & later travel to the pier. The English spoken by the staff was most appreciated. We asked for a higher level room facing north, thus we had a... More

Overall the hotel was nice. The gentleman at the reception was so lovely. I give him 5 stars. But the hotel about 3.5. The rooms are a good size, bed is huge( we were upgraded which was nice. They have a pool which is the size of a childrens pool. Breakfast was nice. It would be nice if they changed... More

Conveniently-located, not excessively pricey. Took several attempts to connect to wifi, and then had to re-login after going outside of the range. The bathroom ceiling is just a wooden grid, so you can see the pipes above, electrical wiring, etc (all painted black). I thought that was kind of a lazy effort. No view whatsoever from our room, unless you... More

Good location , great pool and view from last floor Overall a good option and well located in Copacabana with a relatively good price Avoid staying in low level floors AC was very noisy and cleaning trucks early morning might wake u up Staff was friendly and Celia manager was great.

Rooms are pretty basic, not too spacious, no fancy decorations but fairly confortable.Slightly overpriced by international standard,as to be expected with the location. Staff is excellent, welcoming, specially the front desk lady, Renata, warmingly friendly, multi lingual and incredibly helpful, made the stay all the more agreable...We followed the previous reviews and asked for a top floor (we got the 10th)...
