Stayed here in December 2014 for a week and it was everything you need when staying in Rio. Close to beach - just a short walk, near great cafes and restaurants. The rooftop pool was great as well as the breakfast, rooms and cleanliness - everyday rooms were cleaned by a lovely maid Maria. Would recommend to anyone and would... More

We have never been to this hotel, it's the first time, all I can say is: so far, so good! I have read most of the reviews before getting here and some are very unfair. I'm here and all is good: the wifi connection, the staff, the good beds, the breakfast. I will write a complete review when I'm back to Europe,but... More

i stayed here after a long period travelling as a bit of luxury treat. Great location close to copa beach, not far from the subway. On arrival they were very snobby and looked down on me as I had a back pack. I felt very put out and barely got eye contact from the hotel reception desk. The poo, was... More

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your reservation and for your comments. Sorry if you did not feel comfortable with my reception desk. However , please be sure that absolutely they definitely do not judge the guests for their luggage ; we receive lot of guests with backpacks and we had never had such a claim. About the pool... A very good location, walking distance to copacabana beach and good restaurants. Our visit was during carnival and though the hotel was full the staff was always friendly and ready to help with all our enquiries. There is nothing fancy in this hotel but amenities and breakfast are what one expects to find in similar category hotel. Buffet breakfast was... More

We stayed here for two nights and the price somewhere around 220 USD. A little bit expensive but I guess that this was the case in Copacabana as this was around the Carnaval period. Apart from the little pricey stay there are no bad points. The room and bathroom were modern, clean and big. The breakfast was very good, diverse... More

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your stay. And as we notice you enjoyed Mirador Hotel. Staff, location , breakfast etc... we stayed here 3 nights and Rio was our first stop on a month long itinerary. We were impressed with the staff here as there was always an English speaking staff member on and they went the extra mile to help us by recommending restaurants, making sure we got our bag which was not on our plane with us, and... The best thing about this hotel is the location: walking distance from Copacabana. You can also enjoy a great view on Christ The Redeemer from the room. Biggest issue is the noise in the room. You can hear water flowing in the pipes when other residents are having shower or when they flush! The lifts are extra super slow. The... More

We stayed here for 4 nights before the World Cup. It's a decent hotel, nothing fancy, in a fairly good location. The Copacabana Beach was within a walking distance and Ipanema a short taxi ride (or 1/2 h walk). Lots of restaurants nearby. We had a deluxe room which had a massive bathroom and a sauna (which we did not... More

Stayed here for two nights. The location is great and just a short walk to the beach. The room was clean and had everything we needed but the rooms at the front of the hotel are noisy owing to their proximity to the street. A friend who's room was located at the back of the hotel advised it was quiet... More
