The Mirador Hotel isn't a bad hotel, but at the time of visit it was at best only 3* The rooms are clean and functional with a good sized bathroom and windows that open. The walls are paper thin though so noisy neighbours can be a problem. The rooms had AC but where unusable due to the noise it made.... More

This wasn't the most amazing hotel we've ever stayed in, but the breakfast was excellent, the room was reasonably comfortable, the hotel was close to the Copacabana beach, wifi was free, and the price was very reasonable compared to the other hotels nearby. There is a pool on the rooftop, and the other side of the roof has a straight-shot... More

Nothing especially good, nothing especially bad.Rooms are somewhat tired but clean. Breakfast was quite mediocre in my opinion. Elevators a bit chaotic. Staff pleasant. Good location near subway, restaurants, shopping. Beds a bit hard. A/C somewhat uncontrollable, even though there is a nob on the bed which is supposed to vary the temperature it all comes out FREEZING. Pretty thin... More

A good hotel, it was a couple of blocks away from the beach but good value for money. Had I booked a hotel on the beach front, I would have to pay for breakfast and internet connection. My husband and I booked a standard room, we had a double bed and single bed, a dry sauna, a dining area with... More

I stayed two nights at the Mirador Rio Hotel as part of a group tour. Room 1408 was a triple room which I shared with another person. The room was basic, with enough room for three twin beds and a small fridge for the minibar. The bathroom was also tiny, with a shower (no tub). One needed to check out... More

Excellent breakfast, room was clean with a nice view to 'Corcovado'. Free WiFi but you need to enable it everyday and it didn't work by the pool area on the rooftop (fantastic view though). The location is good, you can eat well around that area without having to spend a lot (loads of 'by kilograms' places) and there are many... More

The receptionists don't bother in explaining anything, like which forms are we filling, what time are the check in and the check out, which floor was our room... A smile was something impossible for them. When they HAD to speak, because they have been asked questions, they spoke in a very low voice, so low that we couldn't even hear... More

A good choice if you want to save some money (still is expensive for what it is). The area seems safe and quiet. The rooms are pretty big and has a sauna in the bathroom. Ideal for coming with your familly.

Hotel in a good location in a quiet and safe neighborhood, a few blocks from the beach. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms quite large, ordinary equipped, clean and tidy. Breakfast is quite good, although repetitive, always fresh fruit. The rooftop pool with a very nice view. Some rooms overlooking Cristo Redentor.
