I visited this hotel in december 2014. For the high price, I thought it was a very nice hotel to stay, couldn't be more mistaken. Don't get me wrong, it isn't the worst place on earth to be, but it is too expensive for what offers. Bedroom, breakfast and reception are mediocre. On the downside, there is no human feeling... Good location because its on walking distance (5 min) to the famous beach Copacabana, and just 2 minutes from the city metro line which could brings you downtown in about 20 minutes. My room was very small, bathroom ok, but central air condition was very noisy. My room had no balcony, just a window with amasing view to a one... More

My partner and I stayed here as part of a Peregrine Tour. It is a middle of the road hotel - quite comfortable and no real complaints except I could not get wifi to work on my iphone. Only hotel in whole trip I had that problem. Breakfast included a good selection to choose from. The location is good and... More

I stayed here as part of an intrepid/peregrine tour, the rooms were quite old and dated. Bathroom ok. One morning I went downstairs to have breakfast and the room attendant was in my room at 7.30 -8am with the TV on, I asked him to leave which he didn't, eventually I got him out of my room, so I could... My wife and I stayed here for four nights as part of an extended intrepid tour. Whilst the location is in the cocacobana district the rooms are very noisy. You can people in other rooms and on adjoining floors as well as the water running through the pipes when other patrons were using the bathroom facilities. The motel is 5-10... More

The Mirador was OK, in a good location close to Copacabana beach. The staff were quite helpful, always ready to grab a cab or recommend a restaurant. The rooms are pretty tired and dated, and the bathrooms not very chic with tired paint and chipped tiles. Rooms are spacious and have a view of Corcovado (at the rear of the... More

... this was a wonderful, modern hotel with large, clean rooms and even a sauna in the bathroom. We even had a high room with a view of Christ the Redeemer. The front desk staff was very helpful and about half of them spoke English - important for us as we didn't speak Portuguese - and very few Brazilians seem... More

The Mirador Hotel isn't a bad hotel, but at the time of visit it was at best only 3* The rooms are clean and functional with a good sized bathroom and windows that open. The walls are paper thin though so noisy neighbours can be a problem. The rooms had AC but where unusable due to the noise it made.... More

This wasn't the most amazing hotel we've ever stayed in, but the breakfast was excellent, the room was reasonably comfortable, the hotel was close to the Copacabana beach, wifi was free, and the price was very reasonable compared to the other hotels nearby. There is a pool on the rooftop, and the other side of the roof has a straight-shot... More
