A very good location, walking distance to copacabana beach and good restaurants. Our visit was during carnival and though the hotel was full the staff was always friendly and ready to help with all our enquiries. There is nothing fancy in this hotel but amenities and breakfast are what one expects to find in similar category hotel. Buffet breakfast was... More

We stayed here for two nights and the price somewhere around 220 USD. A little bit expensive but I guess that this was the case in Copacabana as this was around the Carnaval period. Apart from the little pricey stay there are no bad points. The room and bathroom were modern, clean and big. The breakfast was very good, diverse... More

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your stay. And as we notice you enjoyed Mirador Hotel. Staff, location , breakfast etc... Really due to the stron demand the rates in Carnival are increased; but in an acceptable level. It is very good for us when a guest make good comments about our job. We hope you have enjoyed Rio... we stayed here 3 nights and Rio was our first stop on a month long itinerary. We were impressed with the staff here as there was always an English speaking staff member on and they went the extra mile to help us by recommending restaurants, making sure we got our bag which was not on our plane with us, and... The best thing about this hotel is the location: walking distance from Copacabana. You can also enjoy a great view on Christ The Redeemer from the room. Biggest issue is the noise in the room. You can hear water flowing in the pipes when other residents are having shower or when they flush! The lifts are extra super slow. The... More

We stayed here for 4 nights before the World Cup. It's a decent hotel, nothing fancy, in a fairly good location. The Copacabana Beach was within a walking distance and Ipanema a short taxi ride (or 1/2 h walk). Lots of restaurants nearby. We had a deluxe room which had a massive bathroom and a sauna (which we did not... More

Stayed here for two nights. The location is great and just a short walk to the beach. The room was clean and had everything we needed but the rooms at the front of the hotel are noisy owing to their proximity to the street. A friend who's room was located at the back of the hotel advised it was quiet... More

Dear Guest, First of all thank you very much for choosing Mirador and thank you again for your opinion. It is very good to know that you enjoyed our hotel and our staff . We stayed here in a 3-bedroom acco and would say that this is a pretty decent lodging close to the Copacabana Beach. The front desk is helpful and breakfast was ok for the prices. We had our private vehicle and parking was not a problem here at all. The pool was very small and not really worth use. Overall we... More

I Have been here from the 29 of december to the 6 of january, the hotel Is in a very good position, in 5 minutes walking it's possible to reach copacabana beach and nearby there is the subway. Room was big, comfortable and clean. Good breakfast, horrible room service. Good wifi. Now the main point, reception departement, really unpolite, also... More

2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2014

I visited this hotel in december 2014. For the high price, I thought it was a very nice hotel to stay, couldn't be more mistaken. Don't get me wrong, it isn't the worst place on earth to be, but it is too expensive for what offers. Bedroom, breakfast and reception are mediocre. On the downside, there is no human feeling...
