Average hotel only 3 blocks from Copacabana. Quite street. We asked for an upgrade and stayed in a suite with sauna, though the room wasn't that big. There were 2 of us and they brought an extra bed. Reception staff was friendly, especially a lady. It was a good option during the FIFA world cup. Breakfast was actually very good... More

The hotel is in a nice residential area a few blocks off the beach. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and adequate. The breakfast was very good with a large selection of hot and cold foods. I would stay again at this hotel my next time in Rio.

Overall rooms are fairly basic and the breakfast won't impress you, but friendly and helpful staff and a great location will make up for it (few blocks away from the beach and the metro). The wifi is a bit sketchy in the rooms (only works in reception).

I stayed here during World Cup in June 2014. I found the location to be great; in Copacabana but about 4 blocks off of Avenida Atlantica. You are close to the beach but can retreat away from the business of it all when you go back to the hotel. Also, there are two metro stations within a 3 block walk,... More

We stayed in this hotel during the World Cup 2014. The hotel is a good location just about 4 blocks from Copacabana beach. We felt very save walking from the hotel to the beach everyday and there are small markets and places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The air conditioning is... More

Simple and slightly aged but ok. The rooms were enough for what we needed. Only a 1 night stay as part of a tour group. Fairly clean but some mould in the crevices in the shower. You can hear everything being said in the adjoining rooms' bathrooms as the walls/ceiling was fairly thin. Staff were friendly and check in/out was... More

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for a week after coming from Argentina. Got a taxi to the hotel and initially was stuck my how narrow the hotel was but I guess being Rio space is at a premium. Staff were lovely and checked us in pronto. Room itself was quite small but for what we wanted was perfect, tv,... More

We stayed there for 2 nights and for the price payed we expected more, as the rooms are very tiny and the location is a little bit far from the beach. The hotel price was booked in a travel agent, but for the same price you can get a better hotel in the Atlantica Av. It's very clean, breakfast is... More

This isn't the perfect hotel, but unless you're staying at Copacabana Palace everywhere else is a disappointment. It is a budget hotel but the breakfast buffet is decent with plenty of fresh fruit etc, and everywhere is walkable or a short taxi ride away. This was convenient especially if you need to go out to the supermarket or to an... More

Rio de Janeiro tends to be hot and muggy so you depend on your air conditioning to stay cool. The unit in our smallish room tried real hard judging by the racket it made but it just could not do the job of adequate cooling. Combined with an uncomfortable bed made for fitful sleep. Otherwise all is well at this... More
