Every floor smelt. Food was poor, rooms basic. The view from the pool (which was clean) was the best feature. Handy for the beach but few restaurants nearby. More

This hotel is a block off the leme end of copacabana beach and is a great value for the area. The rooms are adequate and clean and the housekeeping service is very good. A lot of flight crews stay here so late checkouts (2pm) are ok with them. The front desk and bell staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The... More

During 40 years of travelling I have never stayed in a worse room. My most serious concern was lack of signage for fire exits and fire exits which were blocked - very worrying when you are staying on high level floors. The public areas were satisfactory and breakfast was ok but once you go up to the bedroom floors it... More

We stayed for a week in this hotel. Overall it was good but nothing special. The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly, most spoke some English which was helpful for me! My Brasilian fiancee acted as my translator most of the time. When we arrived we discovered our room was not sea facing as we were expecting. A quick... More

Good location, only one block from the famous Copacabana beach. The food was good and there was nice variety for breakfast, the customer service wasn´t too bad. However, our room and bathroom was never cleaned properly, they always somehow managed to miss the obvious empty water bottles, and our dirty cutlery. 3 out of the 7 days we stayed, we... More

This hotel was appalling. After a 21hr flight I could only cry with the regret of not doing my research. The hotel could easily pass as a 1 star. What we paid for and what we received was nothing in value. The rooms are disgusting, mouldy dusty beds and ridden with ants not even hot water! Opposite the hotel reception... More

Do not use the wifi in this hotel. It is not secure. I did and my email was hacked by spammers, sorting it out has been a nightmare. Hotel rooms are basic and noisy. Bathroom very grim, complete with ants on 14 floor! This is a one star business hotel. However, lovely bar and pool overlooking the beach and the... More

Upon staying here for 2 weeks with a large business group the room was never cleaned. Only the beds were made and clean towels given and trash dumped. The toylet and flors were filthy. The hotel smells like funk throughout. The waiter Antonio in the restaurant was TERRIBLY RUDE and arrogant. The breakfast buffet was the nly thing ok with... More

Do you know that smell when you forgot to take wet clothing out of the dryer... you know.. MOLD???? From outside it looked all right, but from the first moment we stepped into the lobby you smell this moldy smell. The smell continued thru the hall way and was so prevalent ine the room, it was unpleasant to breath. The... More

Staff was friendly and very willing to help. The room had three beds to accomodate the three of us, that was a plus because one of our friends is big. The bathroom was nice looking, it was clean and had a modern look. Beds and the whole room were also clean. Location was about a block from Copacabana beach which... More
