The taxi driver recommended this hotel to us. The location is good. There was a nice breakfast in the morning. What we didn't like: room was small, the bed took up most of it, the bathroom was one of the tightest enclosed spaces I've ever encountered in a hotel. Overall just okay buy I wouldn't repeat.

The hotel's service is one of the worst I have ever stayed in. I had a room on the 6th floor and the noise from the air conditioner could wake up the beach bums sleeping two streets down. The linen on arrival was blood stained, on going downstairs as when I tried to call reception there was no answer, I... More

I stayed there for 3 days with a group. When they left I booked the room for another night. I never should had done that. The recepcionist agreed a little discount price with me. So i found it nice. It wasnt much but at least something. On the day I booked the room, they locked the room for us as... More

We stayed there as a family of 5; 2 adults and children from ages 10-16. As we did our Check-Out the receptionist at the front desk tried to charge us $USD 7 extra for using the minibar, with the receipt containing details and hours before we got to the hotel and checked in. The worker acted very rudely, and we... More

Sayed for 3 nights Feb/13, location in the Copacabana area of Rio is excellent, only 2 blocks from the beach. The hotel staff have a very low level of English if any at all. The hallways are very dark, the lights come on with motion detection, sometimes not at all. Breakfast buffet was poor, waiters would eat from the plates... More

Not best hotel in area for prices charged. Definitely in need of an update in terms of decor. The bellhop staff were more helpful than the waiters or front desk. Probably the worlds slowest wi-fi, both free and paid. As others suggested look to Ipanema or further down Leme beach.

The hotel is very well located! It's close to the beach in a nice area full of restaurants and bars! The place to be is ipanema but it's not far from thi area! I liked it very much. Close to the hotel there are also shops and shopping mall. The metro station to Ipanema and Leblon is 4 minutes walking... More

We took the Real Onibus (2018) from GIG that travels to the South Zone, costs $6, and takes anywhere from 1 hour getting to the hotel and 2 hours getting back to the airport depending on the time of day and traffic. It's very clean and safe, but you'll need to exchange money to pay the driver. We got a... More

We stayed just one night in the most uncomfortable bed of our whole 2 month trip in South America. Rooms are basic, but mostly clean. The corridors to the rooms are dark and dank with little ventilation. The hotel is old, But not cheap, although we did get a better rate on the Internet. The location is good, a 2... More

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and whilst the location is good, its safe, I have stayed in better hotels, for a lesser price. The rooms are basic, however, the hairdryer was not working and when I notified the reception I was given a hairdryer without a nozel, and when I tried to switch it on, it cut... More
