Clean room, confortable bed. Workers smiling and helpful. Great location, close to Lapa and City Centre. Great breakfast, full of options. Price affordable. Easy to get a taxi in the front door. Must pay R$ 5 for internet per day. I will return for sure!

This place does what it says on the tin. Basic facilities. Good breakfast. Staff could be more friendly - couldnt help but think they were 'facilitating', rather than 'hosting', their guests. N.B. The cleaners have very loud walkie talkies. Dont stay in a room next to their broom cupboard otherwise you will be woken up pre 6am.

This place is clean (this is the first which I checked in Brazil), has a good view from the roof, sauna, included a good breakfast. Close to Catete and center of Rio, near with subway station. In walking distance a good restaurants and cafes, plus you can find a grocery and pharmacy stores. Good place to stay!

This hotel was great!, based on me and my wife's experience considering the following: 1-Cleanliness (The rooms and are were super clean and well kept), 2- Area (it was walking distance to the main attractions - Copacapana, Pao de Acucar, train, buses, beach, bus to Corcorvado, restaurants, shops, banks, etc,), 3-Safety (this was in a very safe, residential, commercial area and... We stayed at Hotel Regina for carnival and I must RAVE about the breakfast! It was amazing, fresh fruit, baked pastries, plenty of eggs, fresh bread and even sandwiches for those who might not want the standard fare. Cereal, fresh juice and milk in plenty. I was more than impressed. Its a small hotel, and its very conveniently located with... More

This is a very good option for Rio. It's not too close to Copacabana or Ipanema, but is very close to Catete metro station (3 mins walk), from where it’s only three or four stops to the relevant stops for the beaches. HSBC ATM also 3 mins away. Hotel is clean and rooms are modern. Staff speak English, even the... More

We stayed here over carnaval and found the hotel to be very accommodating especially during such a busy period. All the staff were helpful and obliging. Rooms are spacious, clean and a good standard. Good location on a quiet street with a short walk to the beach. Good restaurants in walking distance and felt safe walking around at night.

We stayed in a quad room. There was enough room for 4 people with big suitcases. The room was clean and the breakfast really good. The staff has been helpful concerning transport and restaurant choices. Great value for money. I can recommend it.

Good hotel, very close to "Aterro do Flamengo", you can walk to the aterro for a good running or walk with a beautiful view. Breakfast is very good. The staff is OK, but I did not notice they are willing to go that "extra mile" for the customers.

We just stayed for one night as a stop over before heading down to Ilha Grande. It was friendly, clean and in a nice area. Staff were friendly and helpful although they didn't seem to know as much about how to get to other tourist destinations as we'd hoped. Breakfast was very good.
