I staid 1 week in this hotel for a business trip; the hotel is perfectly located in the downtown business district; however not a lot to do in the evening unless you want to adventure yourself in the little streets towards Praça XV; Copacabana or Ipanema/Leblon are 30 to 40 mins away by taxi. My room was situated on the... More

It's a hotel located in downtown Rio, pretty far from the beaches and stuff, so the only possible purpose of one's stay here is having business in this particular area. Therefore, should such motives keep you away from the hotel for most of the day, it might as well work just fine: the bed is comfortable, the shower is good,... More

I recently stayed at the hotel on a business trip. The hotel is located near the city centre. This is the one advantage. The rooms are old and the area rather noisy. The front desk staff did not speak English and we complete the check-in process based on hand gestures, although he spoke English with the guest before me. I... More

Nice stop over hotel. Room service was quick even at 23:00 hrs. Rooms are clean and tidy. Polite friendly staff. I am looking forward to my next stop over here. The company I work for uses this hotel most time I visit brazil and hopefully they will continue to.

Hotel was nice enough looking, front desk staff was not real friendly, room was clean.. We reserved a Deluxe King, they're very sparsely furnished, if you like the old Ikea look then you'll be fine. Hot water was hot from about 4:30-8AM, afterwards it would get lukewarm at best. The toilet stayed clogged regardless of toilet paper or not. We... More

The hotel is located in the center of the city. Not very friendly neighborhood. The windows from the room I was assigned did not close tightly. In other words, I felt I was camping in the middle of the street. i could hear all the traffic noise. Hotel way out of date. No iron in room nor the lobby. All... More

Well here we are again. Nice and friendly hotel. No one wrestling the bag out your hand as you enter the lobby big bonus there. Bar nicely stocked as usual. Still pricey though. Floors are all nice and clean. Rooms are too. I like this hotel.

Stayed here, as many others have, " courtesy " of Air France for 1 night when our flight was cancelled. We moved from a hotel on Copacabana with some apprehension to hotel described as being in Downtown Rio ( which it is ). However what a nice surprise, an extra bonus ( if unplanned ) day in Rio with full... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, not out of choice but because Air France had cancelled our flight home and had to find us somewhere to stay until they could find us another flight. On first appearances the hotel looks great. Bright, clean and airy lobby. Friendly, attentive and really smartly dressed bell hops and the corridors look good too.... More

almost every time I come to Rio on business I stay here. This is a nice hotel, very clean and have a good breakfast. The location is very good to me, but you may be advised that at night, if you need to go out, you must take a cab. Downtown of Rio is dangerous to walk on the streets... More
