This is a pretty good hotel. I'd stay here again. I was only here one night, but I think I could even stay here for a week or so. For some reason, I got a fairly good price even though it was a Saturday night. The room I got was large (with two beds) and had big windows. The air... More

I'm from Rio, but currently living in another city, so when I come here I want to stay in a good location, in a confortable and clean place and pay as little as possible. I've tried the peer-to-peer apt and room rentals, but a hotel is always more convenient. The Atlantis is superbly well located, next to the Arpoador beach,... More

solid 3 star hotel; my room was clean, pretty spacious, renovated; breakfast with plentiful of tasty snacks, fruits etc. location is fabulous - in a middle class neighborhood on a quiet street 300 m both to copacabana and to ipanema beaches and - last but not least - 5-10 min walk to subway station

Ideally located… right between the beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana. Rooms are clean, and from what we viewed as we walked by other rooms, Europe-nly small. (We were fortunate as the two of us ended up with a room with 3 beds, somewhat larger). Nice breakfast with good coffee, fruit, cereals, yogurt, eggs, a variety of breads. The only flaw:... More

The hotel is all about it's location... it is in the middle between Ipanema and Copacabana beaches. A perfect place to walk to both beaches while the surroundings seem to be safe enough to do that. You can walk to the rock nearby and watch sunset or sunrise there - a great experience. Bars and restaurants are in walking distance,... More

Located between Copacabana and Ipanema beaches a couple of blocks from the waterfront this hotel is nothing fancy, in fact our particular room didn't even have a window which looked outside but instead looked into a shaft of some kind. However, the price is good and you don't go to Rio to spend much time in your bedroom so it... More

Our agent had booked us in here - it was very basic but excellent location, a few minutes walk to either Copacabana or Ipanema beach and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had booked a room with 2 double beds so our room was actually quite spacious which was a pleasant surprise.

Not the best hotel we have ever stopped at but the service was good, the price was right and the location was well placed between Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. A short walk to many well priced restaurants. The breakfast was good with a good variety. Would we stop there again - Yes!!!

Though not completely bad, the Atlantis Copacabana is far from a pleasant stay. If you're planning to stay there, make sure you get a room with some kind of view. When I stayed in the room 404, I couldn't open my curtains because it faced directly to the neighboring room's window. Staff doesn't all speak English, and were not very... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and had an overall good experience. Pros -Friendly and helpful English speaking staff. We did not feel like we were burdening them with our queries. They offered advice when needed and got us taxis when we wanted them. -Breakfast has good variety with fresh fruit and local Brazilian bread available. -Amenities such as soap,... More
