I stayed here with two other friends of mine, all female in our 30s, in November 2013. We arrived VERY early (9 am) and the staff stored our bags while we did a walking tour. When we returned, we were shown to our a triple room. Please bear in mind that if you're from the US, we're not accustomed to... More

Arriving late we were greeted by an efficient reception desk who quickly booked us into the hotel and whisked our bags off to our 13th flr room, basic but roomy though the bathroom a little small. The bed was firm n large with a split system airconditioner we had a very good nights sleep after 29hrs of travel. Street noise... More

the rooms are nothing exciting but the location is perfect. Situated between cococabana and ipanema beaches both less than 5 minutes walk away. Excellent breakfast. Pool is about 10x10' square! Roof is great place to catch a sunset. ATMs and variety of restaurants all within a few minutes walk. Lovely street bar with limited menu just round corner from hotel.... More

Nice hotel. Good location. Food, beach, fun and taxis all nearby. Whatever they lack is made up for with some quick solution by friendly staff. The rooms are basic but clean. The bedding and towels are clean. The bathroom is clean and everything works. Near both Copacabana and Ipanema in a safe comfortable clean place at an affordable price comparatively... More

If you are looking for a basic hotel that is within walking distance of: 1. both Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, 2. a metro stop, 3. is on multiple bus-routes, then this is a good option. If you intend to spend a lot of time in your hotel room whilst you are in Rio de Janeiro, this is not the hotel... More

My wife and I were in Rio for carnival, and wanted to stay in a nice area in the Zona Zul. I chose this hotel because the price of 350US$ per night was reasonable compared to other properties in the area. Normally this hotel sells for about 150$US per night. During carnival hotel prices go through the roof. The location... More

We booked the room for two guests for one night since 5th of MArch. We got a triple room, pretty old, nothing special considering the high price. The hotel is 2 stars considering the quality of the rooms. The only positive thing is the convenient location and the beach nearby. Special points about the stuff. I did not like it... More

Except for the position close to the beach, I have nothing good to report. Rooms are large but very old and not cleaned properly. Staff at the Concierge has been rude and unhelpful. We asked to have a late check out but the room was booked and they offered us a place to take a shower. This place is located... More

The hotel is a convenient location, but mainly if you want to spend a lot of your time on either Ipanema or Copacabana beaches, as both are a 5-minute walk. Another great feature is the rooftop pool and sun terrace, where you can rest undisturbed from the many hawkers that trawl the beach continuiously. The staff is extremely attentive, and... More

We stayed 3 nights at that hotel as a part of Intrepid Tour. Good location - close to Ipanema Beach and to Copacabana Beach. The hotel is actually closer to Ipanema Beach - 1 block and about 3 blockes to Copacabana. 3 min walk to Arpoado Parc where you can see the amayzing sunset when being on the rock (... More
