Stayed here for 2 days on our visit to Rio. Its a nice place for a short stay. They do have the facilities needed. Breakfast is nice and crisp with coffee and juice options. Rooms are nice with a small kitchenette. However, the bathrooms are really small. The shower cubicle is tiny. It is easy to get to metro stations... More

I like this hotel, it's location is close to the metro and a number of decent restaurants. The rooms are comfortable, have new beds and have desks to work at. All the amenities you would expect are in the room. The breakfast is passable but the coffee is very South American. Taxis arrive very fast. Worth the money

We stayed at this hotel for four nights during vacation in Brazil. Location is ok, a five minute walk to the nearest metro station and a two minute walk to a supermarket. Nice and quiet. Our room was great, good size and good quality, nothing to complain about. The wi-fi was great aswell. The pool area was not so inviting,... More

As everything in Rio de Janeiro, compared with other Brazilian cities, at same price I receive less quality or same quality at higher price. Positive: breakfast, entrance at 2nd level, big room. Negative: bathroom is old and not so clean, slow service.

Hotel is very well located, close to restaurants, near by the Lagoa. It has a good gym that I used, and the room is very spacious,, kind of a flat, small kitchen, living room and Queen bed. No tube in the bath, but generally good.

Worse and most expensive Mercure i've ever been. Confused but corteus employee at the lobby. More than R$450 for a block 1 room w/ 10 sq meters /w out soundproofing windows (and, believe me, there is a lot of noise out there). Refrigerator (or wine cellar) making a strange noises during the night and no sheet, just the duvet for... More

Still looks dated although it was clean, the bathrooms are still quite small and crowded but the shores are good. The service is good when compared with the facilities. Not a place to run away from but hard to recommend as well.

Great location in Botafogo. 10 minutes walk to the subway and easy access to other neighborhoods like Copacabana. The hotel is simple, rooms are small, bathrooms are too small... services are gentle and the pool is fine. Fitness center is small with few but good equipments, maintenance neeeded is some. It’s a good option for tourists and business trips to... More

Great hotel. Our room was a 1 bedroom apartment with view to the Christ Redeemer monument. The kitchen had a full size fridge, microwave and stove. There was no cookware. Food market close by the hotel. Pool was clean. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant but we noticed the prices were competitive.
