Still looks dated although it was clean, the bathrooms are still quite small and crowded but the shores are good. The service is good when compared with the facilities. Not a place to run away from but hard to recommend as well.

Great location in Botafogo. 10 minutes walk to the subway and easy access to other neighborhoods like Copacabana. The hotel is simple, rooms are small, bathrooms are too small... services are gentle and the pool is fine. Fitness center is small with few but good equipments, maintenance neeeded is some. It’s a good option for tourists and business trips to... More

Great hotel. Our room was a 1 bedroom apartment with view to the Christ Redeemer monument. The kitchen had a full size fridge, microwave and stove. There was no cookware. Food market close by the hotel. Pool was clean. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant but we noticed the prices were competitive.

This is a good hotel, in an ok location. I have booked a room with a balcony however the one I was given didn't have one. The room was quite small for a Mercure property standard, but was recently renovated, which was really good. Location is not that good, not many nice restaurants or places to eat nearby the hotel,... I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in rio! The hotel is beautiful and modern, and it has a pool and a great breakfast buffet. I stayed in a room for 4 people, which had 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, and with 2 full bathrooms, a spacious living area... More

Where to start? Staff at reception speak only Portuguese, no English, and not very helpful or friendly. It took more than an hour to check in because they gave us a smoking room instead of a non-smoking apartment, then our keys didn't work. Each time we had to got back down and get in line and try to explain what... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a good sleep in good beds and without noise. Our room was small but ok and so was the bathroom. Our room was no. 510 in block 2. The service by the reception at the ground floor is very fine and English speaking. They helped us booking tour to a favela. The... More
