You can't fault the location of this hotel. It is in the central part of Rio, close to lots of attractions, the Metro and Santos Dumont airport. But you might want to shop around for better options in that part of town, even if it means you have to pay a little more. This hotel is in two parts as... More

The hotel is centrally located, with lots of attractions around in the neighborhood. Front desk is mostly helpful, hotel is modern and well decorated. Rooms are mostly quite good size with nice bathroom (no bathtub), but, depending on where they place you, you might end up having a view to another building. Try to avoid streets around the hotel (which... More

Rooms unclean and then told take clean towels and stay in a dirty room. Unbelievably rude manager. Offered lunch in terrible restuarant as compensation. Worst response in the world. Never very stay here.

The location of this hotel provides us with many options. We were primarily in Rio for the world cup, but were able to go to many different areas as the metro and bus stations were less than 2 minutes away. The room was a bit tight, but I loved the bathroom. Clean for the most part. Overall a pleasant experience.

Excellent alternative if you are going out in the Lapa or other downtown venues and need to stay overnight. Clean room, Also very close to Santos Dumont airport. Cost benefit at its best. Excellent pool with gorgeous view for a dive after a night out and healthy hearty breakfast for the followin morning. A few meters away from subway station.... More

Stayed here for carnival due to the lack of any other options (booked late). It was ok but nothing special, not great value. Had issues with the staff not speaking English (I don't think that's acceptable for a hotel like this) and some rudeness. Location is central but not the safest or most convenient for sight seeing.

The short story: Don't stay here if you're on business and need reliable wifi and a comfortable room in well run hotel. This place is an utter disaster with staff (apart from one guy called Daniel) who are blase and unhelpful and seem to have a very limited grasp of customer service. The long story: WIFI AND CUSTOMER SERVICE PROBLEMS... More

The hotels location is quite good you are less than a block from the 'Cinelândia' metro station. You are also quite close to the ferry terminal to Niteroi. From the hotel top terrace you have a view over the monument of the armed forces to the Sugarloaf Mountain south.

We read the reviews before coming to Rio and were a bit anxious, especially the "worst nightmare" review. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to a big hotel, sparkling in marble and glass. The room was super clean and the bed was comfy. The rooms had everything we needed. The hotel is in the main area, about 50 metres... More

We had one night to kill in Rio before an 8am flight, so I gave the Atlantico a try as it was fairly reasonably priced given the facilities and the location. The staff were friendly enough, and got us checked in fairly quickly. We had a huge room with a double and a single bed (which struck me as odd... More
