Cinelandia and downtown areas in Rio de Janeiro are definitely worth visiting. I stayed at this functional hotel for 3 nights. Small room, loud air-conditioner, excellent choices for breakfast. It takes an eternity for the small elevator (there are two) to arrive and they might be packed when they do arrive. Convenient for subway and visits to Municipal theater, Brazilian... More

Average hotel worth 2 stars only. Very expensive paid wifi (a real joke). Very close to metro station but area of Cinelandia is very dirty and unsecured at nightfall.Same story on week-ends, stayed there 27/6 to 29/6 and everything is closed and deserted in Centro (downtown)! Better to stay there week days.

Clean and confortable for short stays in Rio de Janeiro. Good bed, shower and breakfast. Walking distance to Santos Dumont (SDU) airport, Lapa archs and another tourist points in dowtown. All furniture is in great shape as the building itself. Rooms could have modern (split) air conditioning appliances. The neighborhood do not look very safe to walk around.

Excellent alternative to hotels located in the Copacabana and Ipanema areas. Especially on weekends (Friday night until Monday) as heavily room's price are heavily reduced (rooms with not much of a view but in the main building so nice & clean). Cost benefit definitely at its best in a city where even 2 stars hotels are expensive. Very close to... More

We were at the Atlantico Business Centro Hotel for "Carnival" week. Hotel was adequate and room for 3 guests was nice. Complimentary breakfast was nice. Restaurant did not want to take our US credit card for meals and said I was declined. After problems with the front desk, clerk finally figured out how to call master card for me.. I... More

Comfortable, centrally located, easy access to airport, nice breakfast. There is a tiny rooftop pool. Very convenient to metro station, taxi and buses. Some restaurants in the area. Wi-FI used to be free, now it is paid. Not a good value at all: expensive for a weak signal. Rooms are small. No parking; the surrounding area should be avoided at... More

Old and used hotel. Staf did not speak English. Break fast is Good. aircondition was old. Safety is High with own guard and a huge fence. A high hotel, but no possibility to view over the center from the top of the hotel. But in the absolute center of Rio.

What a dump! They left me a box of condoms in my room and instructions on how to use them. I had a shower head sticking out the side of my bathroom, that was the shower, the whole bathroom! What a hole of a hotel! Rudest hotel clerks ever!

You can't fault the location of this hotel. It is in the central part of Rio, close to lots of attractions, the Metro and Santos Dumont airport. But you might want to shop around for better options in that part of town, even if it means you have to pay a little more. This hotel is in two parts as... More

The hotel is centrally located, with lots of attractions around in the neighborhood. Front desk is mostly helpful, hotel is modern and well decorated. Rooms are mostly quite good size with nice bathroom (no bathtub), but, depending on where they place you, you might end up having a view to another building. Try to avoid streets around the hotel (which... More
