I searched the internet for a long time to find a hotel in Rio for a family of four that wasn't expensive and was within walking distance to the beach. I didn't want an apartment as we like having the included breakfast which hotels provide and the daily room clean service. We also were not planning to spend much time... More

ust 2 blocks to Copacbana. Quiet, clean and comfortable place to stay on a budget. The rooms are renowated. Breakfast is good for a two star hotel. Staff is very helpful. There are good local restaurants close to hotel.

Stopped here for 4 nights during the World Cup and compared to other local hotels in the area around Copacabana was well priced. Local area around it didn't look to bad or intimidating with lots of local bars and places to eat on a budget. Hotel a bit dated in areas but clean and tidy. Good breakfast with plenty of... More

Delight to have found this hotel during the World Cup, and with its excellent location 300 metres from Copacabana, the Rio Fan Fest and more this was a bargain. Rooms are clean, simple, yet functional, with a nicely filled mini bar a nice touch, A metro station is a mere 10 minute walk away, and with easy access from both... More

We stayed here for three nights during our first visit to Rio. We chose this hotel because it is close to the beach and a subway station. The rooms are simple but clean and compared to pictures I've seen online from other hotels very modern. The rooms and bathrooms seem to have been refurbished recently. Only negative here is that... Great location (down the road from Copacabana), such friendly and helpful staff (they went out of their way to help us when our airport transfer didn't arrive), excellent WIFI, the rooms are new and refurbished (very good bathrooms). In general we felt safe and were very happy with the location and loved the juice bar just metres away.

They had english speaking staff who went out of their way to assist us with everything we wanted to do. Great breakfast, clean spacious room, central location. Lots of places to eat and bus stop is across the road and will take you anywhere u need to go. Aircon worked well and only a few minutes walk from Copacabana beach

I stayed for 3 days with more 2 friends at this hotel. We did not have too much option because many hotels were packed already, as Monday was holiday in Brazil. Price was good and staff very nice. We stayed in a 4 bed-room but we were just 3. They gave us many recommendations and I was so lucky because... More

Staying in Copacabana

Neighborhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
