The hotel is directly across the street from the beach so rooms have great views. The buffet breakfast is delicious including everything from fresh fruits, breads, eggs, sausages, etc. The bed in our room was very comfortable and the room temperature was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had just 2 complaints. There were never enough towels... More

I was there in the world cup period. The room itself is nice. It has a small balcony and you can watch the beach. Service is average. You cannot even order a coffee in the room nor take the coffee from breakfast up to your room (without paying for it). Internet is available, BUT you must pay for it too.... More

It was my first time visiting Brazil, so i don't know how to compare this hotel to other hotels in Brazil, but overall nothing significant bothered me, it was a nice stay, the food recipes was different and strange to me but tastes good and clean, and for sure a lot of tropical fruits in the buffet. The hotel was... More

How to evaluate a hotel that you cannot even to do the check in? This is what happened to me. I booked the hotel and when I arrived at the lobby to my check in, the room that I had reserved 3 weeks before going there, was not available with king size bed although it was clearly described in my... The hotel is recent refurbished. The smell in the hotel is terrible. I don't know if it is because of the refurbishment. The gym is so small and doesn't have any air conditioner. I didn't have problems with the room.

A very nice building and place! But no respect they charge for internet service there's no vallet parking and worst, they gave me a key of an occupied room!. Avoid it!!!!!!! The owners are taking advantage of the Brazilian Soccer World Cup!, and damaging the image of us, Brazilians!

We stopped for 2 nights in April on the 6th floor. Room was clean and modern with fantastic views of the ocean. The pool area is good although some construction is going on nearby so there is some noise. The beautiful beach is just across the road and some decent surf on some days. It's 2 minutes walk to many... More

For a short business trip to Rio I had some other hotels in consideration but they were overbooked, so I had to relook and from all my second best choices my choice was this one. The hotel is located at the beach in Barra, one of the more business oriented areas. The beach is beautiful and many people from Rio... More

The hotel is nice but nothing special. They are redoing the rooms and it looks much better so ask for a new room if possible. It´s fairly clean, very close to one one of the maps streets in Jardim Oceanico where you can find many restaurants, cash machines and act. There service is poor but some of the staff members...
