I stayed there for one night, forgot my swim suit hanging on the drying rope. When i came back after 2 days claiming for my swim suit it was not there. The girl at reception told me: "the cleaning lady probably took it" Why the hell would she touch anyones clothes hanging?? When i got angry from this stupid and... More

We stayed in a 3 bed dorm room. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of bathrooms and toilets to use near the room. Breakfast is simple but good. Good bar area. The staff in this hostel are absolutely amazing. Always willing to help and go out of their way to make you comfortable. Fantastic location.

The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. At first, I booked a 3 person dorm, which ended up in what I considered more of a 'basement' feel. The staff exchanged me to the 6 person dorm upstairs, which I found more pleasant (but my travel partner stayed in the 3 person, so it all depends... More

Staff are very helpful and welcoming. Nice chill out areas and a decent kitchen. Security was good and it was located in a good area. Dorms are standard. I only found the beds a little uncomfortable. Having said that i'd still recommend it to anyone.

Good hostel in a good location, security taken seriously and very helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to help. Bar was not that lively and the triple bunk beds were not only uncomfortable but also a health and safely risk. The 9 and 12 bed dorms were very cramped with minimal storage space.

Very pleased I chose to stay here. I was encouraged by the good reviews and they weren't wrong. Very clean, comfortable and convenient location. Extremely helpful staff that are always around if you need anything or you want advice for anything. The breakfast is standard and you can get wifi everywhere in the hostel.

We couldn't have asked for a better hostel to start our South America trip! The location, overall cleanliness, breakfast and communal facilities are excellent - but what truly makes this hostel better than any other I've stayed in is the staff. They were always going out of their way to help us and created a fantastic, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.... More

Hey, I do not usually Mohgt Write a review and mostly no bad reviews .but my experience hostel was unfortunately not very good! It started small, terrible room for 12 people crowded Do not be surprised that someone will wake you in the night That's just a complete floor of all cases. Stayed here for 2 weeks, and didn't want to leave. Breakfast is awesome (watermelon and freshly baked bread and brownies every morning), just like the crew, who always seem to be contagiously cheerful. There is usually someone to hang out with at the bar in the hostel, but there's no noise if you want to catch an early night. They... More

My friends and I enjoyed our time in walk on the beach hostel. The staff at the reception were very helpful however the rooms and bathrooms were extremely small. The worst thing about this hostel is the sky scraper bunk beds. The bunks were unbelievably high (three storey) and had no bars as a safety precaution.

Staying in Copacabana

Neighborhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
