I went to Paraty this July with another three friends and we decided to stay at this hostel even though these poor reviews were already available. This choice was driven especially considering budget limitations, which, eventually, was a bad parameter: we rented a 4 people exclusive bedroom to find out, in our first ten minutes there, that it had already... We arrived late in the evening in Paraty so we didn't take to much time looking around and had been happy to find this hostel near the historical city Centre. The location in the town is where the pro-section stops. The hostel has as far as I know 2 8 bed dorm rooms - devided by a thin wooden door.... More

Stayed there for 2 nights in a 12-bed dorm. Two of the bunk beds nearly collapsed and were simply dangerous to sleep on, yet this did not prevent the owner from renting them anyway. There is insufficient room in the communal areas compared to the sleeping capacity of the hostel, and the little space available was most of the time... More
