The location is quite good and within walking distance to the historic down toun area. Rooms were clean, but there are mosquito and ant issues - probably a problem all over the town. Having a small pool is useful to get you through mid days hours, and free parking is also a definite plus to the package.

Nice place - friendly, helpful owner and staff. Pretty garden area and pool. Good breakfasts. Recommended! Paraty is great and the boat trips are a must! The pool is not fenced so careful with little kids.

End of March 2012 we stayed in the beautiful hotel. We appreciated vry much the most friendly help and support of the owner. The ambiance, especially in the lobby and in the garden, is unforgetable. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The cost-effectiveness is perfect. An excellent hotel. We recommend it to everybody.
