I really liked this hotel. It's a stone throw from the beach, and has an old fashioned, almost trendy feel. You feel like in the 60ies or maybe 70ies. The hotel is in a very bad state of conservation: the conditioned air machine is noisy, so that it is impossible to sleep with it turned on, despite the hot weather; the breakfast is disgusting; the bed sheets are dirty; the mattress and pillows are uncomfortable; there is mold on the walls.

I have been 29 times to brazil and twice to this hotel, the first time was in 2001 and now one week ago (march 2012), it is the worst hotel ever, we had 3 rooms for 12 days and even so the services were the worst, please believe me i rarely complain but this was too much...good luck
