I was not at all impressed with Sagu, and the unjustified price makes the choice to stay there sting even more. Firstly, the location ended up being more a burden than a blessing. The tours, shops, restaurants, nightlife etc are all a 20 minute walk away, and that walk involves varying depths of beach water, littered and soiled paths etc... more

On this beautiful island this is one of the few high end options. Very friendly staff make for a great time. Can't fault it really, aside from don't get ripped off with the transfer from Rio at 480 Reis. A decent cab will take you there for 250 Reis and then take the fantastic catamaran for 20 Reis each. more
