Chez Pitu, is on the beautiful, idylic Geriba beach the hotel is imaculately clean, and the breakfast had a good selection. However the rooms are small and basic, but clean, it is in a perfect location, but exceptionally quiet. The staff couldnt do enough for us, the pool bar man even took time out to bring all the ingredients to a caphini to show us how its made and learn the english words for them, any of the day staff will get you umberellas, chairs, sun loungers or towels for the beach etc.
We had done 2 weeks in Peru and Argentina, and a few days in Rio, so when we arrived in Buzios and settled into Chez Pitu is was a perfect end to a fantastic trip, and would recommend it .
The only ctiticism would be the lack of storage space, and virtually no wardrobe space (approx 8-10 hangers). However the service and location made up for everything.
