There are better places to stay in Buzios. Especially when the owners namely Kevan are abusive. We tried to check out a day early. Buzios is just a small paradise on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. And as for me Pousada Hibiscus Beach is the best place to stay there. I liked the small cute bungalow where i lived so much! Stayed here for 2 nights. Different from most hotels in that it`s rooms are actually individually draped on a hill. Central location, but away from busy roads. We spent the first half of our Brazil trip in Buzios and the second half in Rio. If I had it to do over, I'd spend the whole time in Buzios! The Pousada Hibiscus was charming, clean, very reasonably priced and conveniently located. I recommend this place and would stay here again without hesitation! more

Spent three days here and would definitely return. Each room was its own cabin and had a terrace with a wonderful view of the Joao Fernandes Beach. The pousda is only a 3 minute walk from the beach too. Rooms are cheerful and in a good state. The buffet breakfast was superb with fresh fruit and pastries a plenty. more

Great hotel, spacious, individual bungalows with seaview balcony. Very close to the nicest beach in Buzios and it is a nice 15 minute walk along the shore to the centre. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Breakfast was good, with fresh orange juice and fruit. more
