We recently stayed at a Garden View bungalow at the Ocapora and really enjoyed my visit. The bungalow was quiet and featured a garden with palms, bugenvilia, and hibiscus flowers. Good location in relation to the beach and nearby beaches - all of them great!. The village of Porto de Galinhas is 5 km away - 10 minutes by car, taxi or bus (available frequently at hotel's entrance). The Pontal de Ocapora Hotel is a typical beach hotel: not that good, not that bad. The beach is similar to others in Brazil, you must be carefuul about the sea. The hotel have 3 swimming pool that are very small,the semi private beach is a better choice. The thing I most deslike was the animals all over the place.... more

The ocapora hotel is not very recent, we liked it very much. The reception is very beatifull, and all open. The beach is in front of the hotel. The restaurent have a great view to the beach!!! The pools are small but fine! Great Great great food! The best breafast ever! the quality was faaaantastic! The rooms were average! more

We booked a 5 night stay at the Hotel Pontal de Ocapora through Brazilian travel agents CVC on a half board basis. We were promised a luxury room with ocean views but can only express our shock when we arrived. By the way CVC is meant to be the top agents in Brazil similar to Kuoni or Thomson in the... more
