Of the five hotels I stayed in during the World Cup, this one was the nicest. The rooms are small, but clean. The restaurant was excellent. The staff was friendly and professional. My only real complaints: the Wi-Fi didn't work very well in the room. I had to go out in the hall. Also, the location isn't great. There isn't... More

Large, old fashioned, good staff, poor breakfast and just an average hotel. Depending on your trip, the stay worth the fare. But avoid high expectations for a hotel built to receive huge travelling groups.

We spent just one night here while visiting Iguazu Falls (Oct. 30). The exterior was undergoing renovation at the time, but inside it was quiet, spotlessly clean, and refreshing. The courtyard area near the pool is lovely with well-tended orchids growing on nearly every tree. The breakfast buffet was second to none - the best I've ever enjoyed. I woke... More

I do not know how much rebate this hotel pays to the travel agent (FlyTours) that recommended it to me, rather than Iguassu Resort which was my first consideration and was indeed available. Iguassu was on my list of places that I wanted to visit before I die, and I chose to make this trip after my work trip to... More

Large, clean but dated rooms. There was an odd feel to the hotel. It was good that Wifi was available though very poor signal. There was a poor breakfast selection for vegetarians. I suppose with a name including Palace, my expectations were heightened, and not met.

My first time here, and will never come back again. Rooms are medium size, but with very old furniture. The smell of the room was awful... very very bad! The localization is near a highway, but with nothing close by, just industries. You will need taxi or car to go to Foz downtown or Puerto Iguazu. Price is moderate. The... More

Hotel is ok, some rooms renovated, others not. Food is nice, well decorated and fresh. But beware of beds, we had a group of 6 people, 3 different rooms, and 4 of us were bitten by bedbugs. They were crawling everywhere on the floors, and as hotel does not use hoovers (just manual sweepers), the population seems to be exploding.... More

This is the second time I stay in Rafain Palace to attend a meeting. The hotel is very good, rooms are very comfortable, big, great bed and very good bathroom. The swimming pool is very good, and it has a beautiful yard full of trees just next to it. Everything in Iguaçu falls is far from each other, so be... More

Why would you stay here? 1) The hotel was booked by a travel agent and you didn't have any control 2) You are attending a meeting at the attached convention centre 3) You need a place to stay that is near the freeway heading out of town, on the opposite end of the city from the airport. I think the... More

Good: the rooms are very spacious, staff is friendly, food is good. The hotel is a bit run down and located in an area far from everything. But the worst is the noise. Children and adults running and just talking really loud in the corridors, every time someone slams a door you can hear loud and clear inside the room,... More
