Visited for a 3 night stay with my 10 year old granddaughter. Arrived 1.30 am to be told we were being given a double bed. Quite a heated discussion as I had deliberately booked a twin room. not a great start. Room was ok but amazed to discover that this was a superior room. Hate to see the normal rooms!!... More

Nice setting in beautifully landscaped gardens, but, unfortunately, the San Martin has a few shortcomings. My "Junior Suite" (room 317) was a sub-standard small (think cupboard) and dark room, certainly not qualifying as a "Junior Suite" anywhere else. The breakfast buffet is on the very rustic (if not minimalistic) side. Everything, including hot beverages, is self-service. The cold cuts are... More

This is possibly one of the most unpleasant hotel experiences I have ever had. The staff are rude and unhelpful and are quick to angrily enforce their so-called "rules"- such as rigid check out times- on their guests whether or not these rules impede the comfort of the guests. The way in which we were treated, by staff from the... More

The hotel is in an excellent location - just a few minutes walk from Iquacu Falls. I stayed in a superior room which was very nicely furnished, clean and all that I expected. During the day there was always at least one staff member who spoke English at the reception desk. The check-in process took quite a while as they... More

We had the Superior room and felt very confortable and well furnished. Very convenient location just a few steps from the Brazilian National Park, Saved us time and money on Tour. Highly recommend specialy if you don´t have a lot of time to spend at the Falls.

This was a luxury stay for the price if some hostels. It was lovely. You could walk only 400m to the entrance of the Brazilian side of the falls. It had a spa in house with affordable prices. Staff spoke English and were very friendly and eager to help! The food was ok. Eating al carte was better than the... More

Have just returned from our trip to Brazil. We stayed here for just two nights.Having read the other reviews i was a little trepidatious about what we would encounter.I can only echo the other reviews and emphasize its fantastic location just 5 minutes walk from the entrance to the falls. We had a 'super deluxe' room which was contemporary and functional.... We visited the hotel for one night, and we wish we never had. After having arrived at the hotel, I was quite sick with fever. Our first room's A/C was not working, so they changed our room to a really dirty one. Then after realising the A/C was not working there either, they left it on freezing cold to fix... More

We had a wonderful time at this location. The room was very good. It was not spacious but I never felt cramped. Besides, I don't spend hours on end in a hotel room. The property was very nice to just walk around. The best point is that it is a 15 minute walk to the falls entrance and about 5... More

I returned to Iguasu on a trip with my parents and am utterly disappointed with the services provided by the hotel. Firstly there were no staff at reception who spoke in English, and for this reason I couldn't communicate my early check out a day later to order breakfast ( and they made no efforts to compensate us despite having...
