They charge you about a dollar to use the safe in the room but what's a dollar anyway? The food in the restaurant was good, the buffet offered a wide variety of dishes. We were here during the winter so me and my friend took great advantage of the thermal pools. We went night swimming and had the pools all... more

Mabu Thermas is a nice hotel on the Brazil side of the Iguassu Falls. It was quite overpriced and slightly far away from the Falls. The services at the hotel were excellent. We stayed at an all inclusive rate which included breakfast, lunch and dinner. The spreads were excellent and the food quality was also good. They made special meals... more

We stayed here for 2 nights whist visiting the falls, as i am sure a lot of people do. The room and hotel are just standard american style rooms. Quite big, with 2 double beds, however quite old fashioned, although clean. What makes this hotel stand out a little is that they have great pools and views around. There are... more

The rooms had a distinct whiff of wee - had to move rooms initially only to find the second room smelled of urine with Febreze as well! Thermal pools would lead you to believe that they were thermal but this is not the case. Quite a business/convention centre feel to it. Definitely wouldn't recommend or return. NOT good value for... more

Nice Hotel - a little big maybe. It is a curious mix of convention center and Spa Hotel and the guests are also a good mix of Business people and tourist from all places of the world. Friendly service - although the size of the place makes it a bit less personal than I usually prefer. Rooms are good large... more

We have just returned from Iguazu, and we must say that we were really impressed by the Mabu Resort. Of course the highlight of the trip were the Iguazu Falls, which are incredible, but the Mabu added just more delight to the trip. The Mabu has three swimming pools, chained by slides/falls. One one extreme there's a kind of open... more

My friend and I were backpacking around south america and decided to treat ouselves to a luxurious hotel whilst we visited Iguazu Falls. This hotel is conviently located only 5 minutes from the Argentine/Brasilian border where you can catch a taxi or a bus to the hotel. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff who spoke excellent English,... more

Rooms are average, typical hotel/motel not luxurious at all except for the robe - ended up buying for presents at US $40 each - worth... more

Great pool, good buffet and lovely grounds. Not a five-star by US standards (the rooms aren't luxurious enough and they claimed no king beds even though we reserved a room with one online). However, great big pool with plenty of lounges, poolside bar and grill and nice grounds to walk around. Lots of friendly, attentive staff, most spoke English. The... more
