The hotel is situated near the city center that is not much interesting. There are some weak point, especially extra payment for air-condition (quite expensive), and insufficient cleanliness (quite frequent insects - namely cockroaches in rooms and breakfast room). Breakfast was not bad.

I spent 2 nights at this hostel and the relationship between quality/price, it's nice. However, you have only 1 bathroom, and 1 shower, per floor (+- 25 rooms) The rooms: You have 6 beds in 1 room and a blower, they are a little bit tight, but works to sleep. Location it's nice because you have many bus near the... More

The rooms are not cleaned, neither are the bathroom. Very unfriendly staff who didn't want to call the Itaipu dam to book a tour as I don't speak portugese. 2 fans in the room, but only on wall socket. Really hot in there and we were only 3 (on 6). Good breakfast though and centrally located.

Location is not bad. But the bathroom's smell is so bad and it's not useful for people who can only English.

Dirty bedsheets, dirty towels, fungus in the bathroom, noisy (because of the street noise, not other customers), the ventilation (air conditioning?) could be switched off, but not switched back on, the bed was uncomfortable (reminded of a board covered with chip mattress), breakfast tasting (for majority of the items) quite bad. If it can be seen as positive, the water... More

This hostel was unfortunately not exactly this as it was described on www.hostels.com. The room without any window was absolutely with a bad smell because you couldn't let in fresh air. Even it was not really clean and very old. The public area was not to bad with a nice balcony to have something to eat or drink. Exept that... More
