We so enjoyed our stay in the Kitchen House! Great surroundings, amazing food and truly gracious hosts. Tina and Brian made us feel so welcome and at home. A stay at Timber Cove is definitely a delightful experience.

If you enjoy the great north woods, complete with snow (fantastic snowshoeing) and cold, and are looking for a perfect retreat- The Inn at Timber Cove is it. We stayed in the Summer Kitchen- even at -15 below, we were comfortable - the fireplace/furnace did the job. The privacy of the separate building was enjoyed and appreciated. The Breakfasts were... From the owner's hospitality and welcoming nature, to the unbelievable food, the picturesque grounds, and the quaint, beautifully appointed (antique style) cottages, we could not have been happier with our experience here. Quiet, cozy (even with windchills of -15) and relaxing. We arrived late due to bad weather and roads, but Brian stayed up to welcome us. The gourmet breakfasts... More

We've visited the Inn at Timber Cove about a half-dozen times. The inn is on a beautiful large timbered property that we've enjoyed walking, and their several cottages all have delightful charm and privacy. We've enjoyed moments in front of the fireplace in the main house - what a great place to enjoy board games! Tina always serves a first-class... More

My wife and I loved it here. This was a trip back to her home town for my wife. She remembers when the inn was Dr. Tucker's home so it was special to be staying here. Special things to mention: 1) Tina & Brian's hospitality; 2) Tina's breakfasts!! ; 3) the beautiful grounds; 4) the wonderful croquet court; 5) the... More

I searched so many places in the Ashland/Apostle Islands area and decided on Timber Cove-To be honest most of the hotels horrified me, like fishing shacks or family resorts-I am not fond of children so I did not want to be around numerous families and opted for a B&B-One of my main reasons for selecting Inn at Timber Cove was... I have been to B and B in Europe and In Sonoma and this has been by far the best of them all. The accommodations were perfect, the breakfasts were delicious and the hospitality delightful. Welcoming to GLBT.

My stay at the Inn at Timber Cove exceeded my expectations in a number of ways: the beautiful and extensive grounds and handsome structures, the lovely and very comfortable accommodations, the absolutely fabulous breakfasts and desserts, and most of all, the gracious and accommodating hosts. I also found the Inn to be very good value. I would go back in... More

Not your typical Chequamegon Bay accommodations. Wonderful, homey, woodsy, relaxing place, just barely out of downtown Ashland. We stayed here because it was a busy weekend, and ended up in the Clarice Room, the only accommodation in the main house. It's not just one room, but a small suite, with two bedrooms, a sitting room, and a bathroom. No kitchen,... More

We spent two nights in the wonderful quiet of the Summer Kitchen, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Tina and Brian were great hosts who made us feel like one of the family. The late afternoon snacks were an unexpected bonus, and the breakfasts were tasty and generous. The natural setting of the Inn at Timber Cove is so conducive to... More
