I stayed in this large, riverfront hotel for an entire week. It also served ably as the event center on 2 occasions for a meeting hosted by the nearby UFPA. If you don´t mind staying in a bad area, or if you are willing to stay next to the UFPA university, this is the place for you. The hotel is far away from the main tourists area in Belém, but the staff is very nice, the rooms are not bad and the restaurant and swimming pool are wonderful. The best... More

Right on the edge of an notoriously dangerous favela. You would not walk anywhere outside this hotel. Everything is a 25 minute plus taxi ride away.
