Good hotel located in the center of town. It's just a short walk to all the historic sites in Ouro Preto. The hotel has nice views of the town's steep hills and churches. The hotel itself is just basic. The rooms are fine, a little dated. Mine didn't have air conditioning, which was fine temperature-wise, but the rooms are pretty... More

Perfect location in the middle of the town, free parking. Rooms are clean, furniture a bit outdated, great view from the balcony. The penthouse-style-suites are large and worth the additional money. Very friendly, helpful staff.

Nice, simple hotel, centrally located. Rooms are simple and comfortable. Staff don't speak much English but are friendly and try to assist. It has parking and it's easier to find than some posadas if you're driving. They have a small pool which would be good for summer. Breakfast was a basic buffet. This hotel is over priced but convenient.

The place is good, but for the price you pay you can find better places in one of the pousadas...The breakfast is very good and also the view is attractive. Rooms are medium but clean and confortable. No issues with the staff as well.

This hotel is well positioned but it is in serious need of an upgrade. As a building it is fantastic (classically Niemeyer) but seriously let down by its poor maintenance despite its friendly staff. We walked out after a day.

It's clean and quite modern for local standards. Mini bar is cheap and breakfast was OK. Swimming pool is small but clean. No design at all, no spirit in such a place. Very small, uncomfortable beds. Location is good - close to main tourists attractions and bars and restaurants.

This place has possibly the best views of Ouro Preto, particularly lovely from the breakfast terrace/restaurant. Inside, its all cool and retro-feeling as befits this Niemeyer classic with a wonderful sense of light and connection to the trees outside and the town beyond. The rooms are indeed a little dated (double bed a little too small to be comfortable) and... More
