After reading great reviews on TripAdvisor I was a bit disappointed in the Ouro Minas Palace. It's an old hotel that's been partially renovated and some odd choices made in those renos (by a Canadian standard). Nice hotel. Odd location, first high rise building you see when you enter town. It is not close to anything. Atrium lobby oddly dark. Rooms have seen better days.
