This hotel is located at the most happening spot in BH. And for the price we paid it was worth every penny. The apartments are dated but comfortable and yes noise could be an issue. You can hear almost every sound in the street even on higher floors. Interestingly, the receptionist of the hotel didn't speak english which was surprising... More

As others have commented this hotel/apartment is in a great location, however the slow lifts (of which there are only two) and the paper thin walls/windows mean that if you're after a good nights sleep, then this isn't the place for you. Granted, I'm sure there isn't a fan fest at the foot of the building everyday, however any noise... More

The Max Savassi is located, as the name suggests, in close proximity to Savassi Square, so location wise is great. Rooms look a little dated. However whilst Savassi Square is great location to eat and drink (and we did), here is part of the problem. We had a triple room and I drew the short straw of sleeping on the... More

Stayed here during the World Cup and first off have to say the location is great if you want to be in the centre by all the bars, clubs and restaurants. However, that brings a downside as it is also very noisy and with Brazilians knowing to party don't expect a quiet nights sleep. Then in the morning you'll have... More

Booked a suite in this hotel last may 2014 with my 3 friends, was quite surprised that the room was so tiny since this hotel is an apartment type hotel. The bathroom was so mall that we had a hard time trying to shower. The free wifi was great though since it was fast, the breakfast served was also good,... More

This is like two hotels in one. It's true that the reception is tiny, but all the other common areas are very nicely done, updated really a nice place to be. The apartments on the other hand seem to belong to a different property. They are relatively spacious but need serious updating and the lighting (with lots of those awful... More

Stayed for 4 nights including a weekend. The hotel is ideally situated for business in the Sevassi area and close to dozens of restaurants & bars, shopping. A very safe area of Belo Horizonte. The room itself was fairly typical for an apartment style room, high ceilings but missing any character. The internet connection was average, maybe a little slow... More

This place is really well located close to bars and restaurants, and the price is also really decent. The room itself needs renovation and a nicer decoration - but everything worked fine while I was there: TV, Air Con, Shower. The breakfast was very rich and well served.

I stayed at Max Savassi for a day while on a business trip to BH on my way back from Concelheiro Lafayiete / Congonhas. Considering its location, proximity to Patio Savassi, etc., the hotel is well maintained, offers excellent service, and the restaurant is especially great for such a welcoming price. I'll return to Max Savassi on my next trip... More

The hotel is very well situated with a lots of places to eat around it. So if you really need the silence, ask for a back room and on a high floor. The 12th floor corridor was not so clean and the room could be repainted: it was quite beaten. The gas heater is one of the best features: the... More
