Good location with good restaurants. Center (Av. Afonso Pena) a bit away, but a bus 100 m. from the hotel can bring you there in 7-8 minutes (10 reals for a taxi). I have stayed 6 days in this hotel and I guess this was the best choice possible in BH. Rooms have free broadband internet connection, which I found extremely convenient. Area (Savassi) is just great with lots of restaurants, bars, shops and bookstores in the vicinity. Only problem was I had a room with no view. more

My wife and I stayed at Liberty Palace, June 2008. The hotel is walking distance to Savassi mall, The front desk staff was very helpful and english speaking. free broadband in the rooms. Nice little bar in the lobby. Within walking distance of some very cool restaurants and bars. Would higly recommend the hotel. great breakfast in the morning. more
