Hotel is located right in the heart of Savassi neighborhood, close to shops, bars, cafes and nightclubs. For the urban and hype, this is the city area to stay.
All rooms are spread over two floors, connected by a staircase. The lower one has a living room with stereo and TV, a small kitchen with stools, sink, fridge and oven. The upper one has the bedroom, bathroom and a large balcony with table and chairs - great place for breakfast! I found the room lovely and very comfortable, though the decoration is typical Mercure/Accor. On the bad side, I simply couldn't stand the pillows, which were just too soft and made my neck sore - but maybe that's just me, as I guess pillows are a matter of absolutely personal taste.
I ordered breakfast at the room and found it nice - the one person breakfast is enough for two.
