This is one of the biggest hotels I have ever stayed in! It is massive. However the greeting you get from the staff and restaurant is just as big and friendly. The hotel is set in large grounds backing onto a lake and surrounded by trees. There are many good walks (or in my case runs) within the grounds to... More

Went to Araxa for a conference and stayed at Taua granfe Hotel. It is a lovely property with nice swimming pool and an amazing spa. The room was spacious, but we got one overlooking the parking lot. Try to get a lake view. I did not like the toilet area for many reason. Shower floor was slick, with no hold... More

I loved it all. Me and my family. Good food and service. Great for kids, the recreation service is amazing. The Termas service is very relaxing, the price is fair and you can enjoy it all day long. The city is beautiful and deserve a visit.

Simple: I will go there again! My family loves that place. My daughter (seven years old) was very sad at the time to go and said me: "Dad make a reservation for our turn!" We had great times there... Much joy and affection all the time!

Great palacial construction if the 30´s in a beautiful setting, the hotel has termal water stations inside it. Rooms are large and spacious but aging. Furniture, carpets, tyles are over 20 years old and show it...Food is included and very mediocre- do not expect gourmet food. And since the hotel is outside the city there are no restaurants to go... The hotel is in a history building in which was first built on the 20's to be a cassino hotel. When the cassinos become outlaw in brasil it was empty and them the minas Gerais government reopened it on the 90's. The building is huge, and really beautiful. It's lobby is really big an luxury and makes you fell back... More

Impressive hotel. I went for a Seminar. The hotel is very well organized for business meetings, events, important ceremonies. Maybe too big, too much for an holiday. It's a pity it's not maintained in very good condition. The garden is really nice, especially for party. Just one hour before our dinner prepared on the garden it started raining. But the... More

It has a strange charm given its faded grandeur and its stunning setting but this hotel has seen better days. I cannot fault the service or the quality of the food, which was included in the price. The setting is stunning and the building is a 1940s palace so it is interesting. However it appears to have received little or... More
