This tour of the Pantanal was amazing, we did the 4 day 3 night tour! Our guide was Nicolai, he has lived in the Pantanal his whole life and new exactly where to look to find wildlife. We saw howler monkeys, toucans, capybara, agouti, piranha, jabiru, lots of different lizards, emu, blue macaws, wild boar, and what seemed like hundred... More

We are two travellers from Belgium and had a great time in the Pantanal at the Fazenza Arara Azul. This is a nice place to relax and enjoy the many birds. The rooms were basic, but good and clean and with airo. The English speaking guides were friendly and showed us the most beautyful places. The location was deep into... More

The hostel and the food offered by was good. They were helpful and flexible. The posada was fine and also they provided good food. The trekking itself was pretty good though we had 2 guides, one was really good and knowledgeable the other one was just barely passable. Unfortunately we did not see any big animals but I think that... More

I stayed at the Ecological Expeditions Hostel twice- once before their excellent tour of Pantanal and once after. The staff here gave me lots of useful information about the region , both urban and rural, and even helped me try to recover some lost luggage at the bus station. Rodrigo met me bright and early, told me about all the... More

We are four danish guys that has been traveling in South America for a month. And I guess this hostel is the hostel where we have been taking best care of. It's like the staff wants too help you through anything, and I mean anything!! and this place has a girl in the reception which is pretty freaking hot! (tell... More

I stayed here just one night and the share common areas are fine and the room was basic but it is a hostel. My biggest problem was the water stopped running in the bathroom after about 3 min, I had to catch an early flight and bit having any running water was a huge pain. Plus it's not the cheapest... Despite some mixed reviews I decided to book the Ecological Expedition tour in advance by mail. I am glad that my 3days/ 2 nights tour was flawless and I enjoyed it with my friends I met on the tour. As it was agreed in the morning I was met at the bus station (coming from Iguazu) by Rodrigo and I... More

I arrived in Campo Grande without having ordered any tours beforehand. The owner Rodrigo picked me up for free at the Rodoviaria, and the same night we had arranged a 4 day trip to the Pantanal. The trip was great, with great food, good guides and a nice place to live. It even turned out that I had paid a... More

I started my Pantanal tour in Corumba after crossing the border from Bolivia. Indi, a guy from the tour company Inditours (which is the Corumba partner of Ecological Expeditions) met me at the border and offered to drive me to my hostel. I wasn't sure if I wanted to start my Pantanal tour the same day but I got a... More
