Great option for those that don't have the money to do a private tour. Guide Sandro was brilliant. As it was off-season I did two trips (horse riding and fishing) with him on my own. He was very informative but also happy to chat about anything and everything. Also did a night trip and boat trip with some other people... More

We stayed for the 3 night 4 day tour and were genuinely pleased with the trip. We paid 750 reals each for a private room which was clean and comfortable with air con. We were also given a night for free in the very nice hostel right next to the Campo Grande bus terminal so we could catch our connecting... More

We booked a 4 day 3 night stay in dormitories at our hostel in Foz du iguassu. We were not sure what to expect becauase of the mixed reviews but we had a brilliant time. The lodge is really nice, dorms are clean and fairly spacious with air con and fan. The pool is nice to relax in at lunch... More

Wouldn't really recommend this place to anyone, but if you have to choose between the different pousada's on the main road, I would go for the cheapest and that's Santa Clara. We stayed at the campsite and slept in hammocks, which was a great experience. The room has no windows, but is instead covered with mosquito nets. So in the... More

First of all I want to say that as far as the wildlife and guiding was concerned, this was an OK experience. We stayed there for a 3 day tour and did 2 walking tours, one boat tour, one "jeep safari" (meaning driving around in a jeep), piranha fishing and horse-back riding. All those activities were reasonably good although on... More

Santa Clara is a great place to hang out, meet people, and mingle with the animals on the Pousada. There is a mix of domesticated and wild animals which visit the Pousada (which is more like a lodge). We took a private room. It's fairly decent and clean, pretty much like a budget private dorm room. We did get some... More

The lodges representative in Foz Iguazu came to our hostel and gave us a rundown on what they offer, he was professional and friendly and returned when we wanted more information. We took the bus to Campo Grande (they reserved seats for us) and when we decided we didnt want to continue straight to the pantanal they gave us a... More

We went to a three day eco lodge stay on our honey moon. The lodge was very clean, good conditions, a pool which is very nice for the noon hours and good food (we asked not prepare pork and they made only beef). The tours very pretty interesting and well built, with each one of them you got to see... More

room with a/c and little TV, was smaller that i like, but anyway with enought space if used for 2 people (was a triple), with 3 p will be too crowded. Dining room was a big one, enought choices and good taste. Only the brakfast juice (several options) are really bad. Staff kindly and helpful, activities good in gneral with... More

We were uncertain who to do a Pantanal tour with, and went with Santa Clara as they were recommended by the tourist office in Campo Grande. We choose the budget option, 3 nights at the campsite for 400BR each, which we thought was very good value. However, if you have an extra 100BR you could go for the dorm accommodation... More
