Simple but cozy. Very attentive and friendly staff and, most of all, its perfect location, near downtown and restaurants. Clean and comfortable with no luxury, with a pool and jacuzzi, if you prefer stay at the hotel. As if it was possible in Bonito.

Bonsai Hotel is pretty clean and the front desk staff, in spite of not to speak english, is efficient. Located at less than 500 meters from Bonito's main street, the hotel offers comfortable accomodations and a good breakfest, with many options of fruits and cakes. The bar, however, was below my expectations. The price is fair, and the they accept... More

Bonito is awesome! As for the Hotel Bonsai, it is good. The road to get here is dirty/muddy but I didn't mind much. It is located 2min walk from the main city center, close enough to downtown where you can find many stores and restaurant. The staff is very friendly and professional. Most of them did not speak english but... More

I have been backpacking quite a long time now staying exclusively in hostels and cheap hotels. I've been in some pretty questionable situations, but this is the first time I have felt the need to warn other travelers about a potential disaster. This hotel is disgusting. At first I thought I could deal with the mold on the walls and... More

I stayed in Hotel Bonsai with my boyfriend! We loved the service. Everything was cleaned, organized, with a great cooker and service. The hotel is localized 2 blocks from the center of the city. But the Hotel's restaurant is cheaper than the rest of the city and very good... We gonna back to there next year with sure.

My husband and some friends stayed here for a couple of days in November. We had a great time. There are hammocks outside every room. Our room was very large and with a working AC which was great at night. The rooms were clean and well kept. The hotel itself is a block or so from the city center (5... More

The hotel is a couple of blocks from the centre of town (about a 5 min walk). It looks like more of a motel than a hotel as you park your car outside your room. Rooms are on the small side but come with a minibar and TV. The bathroom was pretty small as well and there was no hot... More
